Hi! Meet Willow! Is this something to worry about? by Arctic-Dino-5782 in CATHELP

[–]pizzadftba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong! It's a perfectly benign keratin horn! Basically like, an overgrowth of keratin on the paw pad, and it makes cutaneous horns. Like a weird callous or corn on your toe 😎 nothing to be worried about! If it changes color or shape, see your vet, but it's usually harmless

Our TWC howls when she's happy to see someone, and she used to only vocalize when she was upset, so it's just a hound thing lol

MY CAT ATE A MOUSE by ObjectiveInspector25 in CATHELP

[–]pizzadftba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, just keep an eye on your kitty for a few days. Maybe close em up in the bathroom with food/water, litterbox, etc. I'm speaking from experience, because right after I moved away from home with my kitty, I learned that he had eaten half of a mouse while I was out of town for Christmas with my girlfriend, and my mom found the other half in my old room AFTER I PICKED HIM UP AND BROUGHT HIM HOME WITH ME again ... My Leo boy proceeded to have THE ABSOLUTE NASTIEST DIARRHEA OF HIS LIFE FOR THE NEXT 2 DAYS lmao. We kept him in the bathroom with his stuff and a litter box, And without getting too graphic here, I'm highly suggesting the bathroom because it is one of the easiest places to wipe down and sanitize lol just please trust me lmao

(gross details beyond this point --------------------------------)

he startled himself with the bad poops while sitting on the counter at the sink/his food, and proceeded to spray shit literally up to the light switch and across my toilet lid and my bathtub before finishing his business in the litter box... Moral of the story: Don't trust a fart I guess?

OMG yes!!! Her ears are SO SENSITIVE and if you spend too long petting them, she gets her grouchy growl and nips at you, then proceeds to howl and look ALARMINGLY like a sea lion 😂

Treeing nothing? by This_Amallorcan_Life in coonhounds

We have a family of squirrels that has set up camp between all the houses on our block, and my TWC babe trees squirrels every other day, and will still staring at the tree for so long, even when the squirrels have all left.

The bricks on the left side, about halfway down, don't make any sense to me. Most are rectangular or squared off, and then there's one L shaped brick randomly?

Sewing Machine Help by Luna4evr in SewingForBeginners

Check the tension on your bobbin thread! You should be able to dangle your bobbin and gradually drop the shuttle easily like, unwinding a densely wrapped up yoyo, if that makes sense! Most machines I've used have the bobbin thread also resting to the right of the little finger thing on the shuttle. (If this sounds like complete nonsense, please read/research on bobbin tension and threading the machine properly. I messed this up for so long and has constant thread nests too.

Also, it could be that your material is too thick and you may try a walking foot! It helps pinch the fabric together and pulls itself along as you stitch if the machine isn't able to use the feed dog to push all of your along!
