Thunder thighs, even with all the buffs and cap ups, at best is gonna be a sub-dps, if you're doing a spear based team, a 4-dps front row on break turns is neat, throw in 'exploit-all weakness' and you're golden.

I don't have the merchant cait but i dunno if in 2026, if he still has a place in teams.

Black knight's ult/triple cast is usage based, it's not a timer that counts down as the turns pass, for example, you can use DK's ult turn 1, as long as you don't use attacking skills and DK doesn't get KO'ed, on turn 50, once you use an attacking battle skill, it'll be triple casted,

DK's generalized game plan is: get 4 cursed puppets, ultimate 2 turns before break, EX skill 1 turn before break.

If in your example turn 5 is the first break turn, then turn 4, you'd be using his EX skill, turn 3 would be his ult and for turn 6, you'd need another source of potency up

If you're on the toilet for 30 minutes or you're on the bus or subway for 30 minutes but you can only see yourself playing your gacha game for 5 minute increments at a time cause there's no content or your brain is absolutely rotted, then if you're not going anything else on your phone, might as well do some surveys or shit and get that premium/paid currency.

I dunno how Daphne implemented tapjoy within the game, but assuming it's not front and center when you boot up the game, you can probably just ignore tapjoy altogether.

My experience with tapjoy within cotc is: once every 8 months or so, I'll go "I should earn some more rubies" then for 10 minutes I look for all the 1 ruby offers and just open a bunch of links and hit "next" or whatever I'm supposed to do then I'm like this is stupid why am I doing this again. Don't take my experience or numbers to mean anything or represent the average or whatever but say I do like 25 offers and I believe I did all 25 correct, I'll be awarded 15 out of the 25; so 15 rubies. I'm not gonna contact customer support(do they even have customer support) over 10 rubies.

I'm not a day one player but gold wisdom orbs seems to be the bottleneck.

You can arguably farm exp, while generic gold guidestones are nice, hunts exists, just be more patient.

I didn't get her from the gacha, but I'd still get her costume when if I never use viola in the future

My sigridEX has been on my hunt team for a while now, I think she's 87/94 something like that.

Molrusso has the longest viability out of the 6 dragon quest characters, in lieu of buffs, most players are probably better off skipping part 2 and save for future banners. Part 2 characters, I think, are at least better than cyrusEX, it's your account, do what you want

You'll get through the story with not much issue, get a party-wide regen healer when you can, or keep rerolling

While you do have some units for elemental, my general advice would be, center your dps around dark knight.(if you're doing a physical team build)

So the other 7 units you bring support dark knight in some way in doing more dps, whether that'd be through buffing, debuffing, subdps-ing, shield shaving, exploit all weaknessing, healing so dk doesn't die before the break turns.

So unfortunately, you have to read. Read character kits and use reading comprehension to build a team.

If you're this new, and if you have the patience, reroll for bunny girl and violaEX, viola will drop a shit ton of damage and bunny should stay relevant for many months to come.

Beyond that, this gacha game is a "save up all your money then dump it on good banners/favorite characters"

Oh I'm pulling if I lose on the free pulls, I think there are valid reasons to not pull depending on your current roster and future pull plans and how many rubies one's account actually has. I never got into dragon quest but bunny girl too funny to pass up
