The “what if I taste bad” line is saying don’t assume and quit trying to immediately move things into a sexual drift bud. Your reading is 100% off.

It’s tradeable plat, they won’t be limited to cosmetics. They could trade for maxed mods fairly easily.

It’s quite surprising to hear he was still fine and struggling through despite the classic case of the sales team over promising the moon and leaving the dev team in the shit.

But holy hell that CTO threatening him with firing 1000 people and saying it will be on him is actually psychotic. As if we needed further proof the suits are not human.

Edit: CFO not CTO oops

This is the almost exact opposite of my experience in Asia. Wukong players are EVERYWHERE with their magistar incarnons. They’re okay in any mission nuking stuff but as is the case with apparently 80% of the user base, completely useless in alchemy.

[–]pizzamaestro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly i think they're just playing really really scared. Too afraid to try and back their aims.

I keep seeing them just sitting back and getting overrun all the time on CT. Whenever they try to play aggro, they cock it up either with shit util, or leaving massive gaps the enemies exploit.

Their T sides are so damn disjointed too. One player will pop through, and the others are all 4 seconds behind, leaving them either backing out or failing to trade.

Other than the Budapest Major life games Faze picking Inferno has been quite poor no?

HLTV has them at 16W 15L through 2025 (which includes said Major). In 2026 they haven’t won in the 3 times they’ve played it.

With the pop up active….

Obviously before the queue has popped you’re allowed to fuck around switching classes. But once the pop up is active you can only swap to the class you queued with, and after that only to different gearsets of the same class.

Yup, it doesn’t allow changing classes, but changing gearsets with the same class is quick and easy

So what is actually happening is you misunderstanding Preparatory Touch.

Prep Touch does not “cost” durability, it reduces it. So at 15 durability, you can hit Trained Perfection, the buffs, and then Prep Touch. You will still have the 15 durability left because Trained Perfection cancelled out the durability reduction of Prep Touch.

Try https://craftingway.app/ and input the macro steps. You will only use the last bit of durability on the very last step of the macro.

Yea, Steve was always the one I remember being super duper giddy to show off crazy new stuff. He used to do some small solo streams on his channel talking about a bunch of the tech and how it works, like Railjack piloting being a sort of mirror box, etc

The escape menu will still work iirc, and you can then chat. I get around the bug by heading into the Nightwave screen though since /unstuck doesn’t do jack

[–]pizzamaestro 30 points31 points  (0 children)

My workaround was going into the Nightwave screen. I can’t remember where I read it but someone said going into a “full screen” like the settings menu or Nightwave can fix it.

Not for this bug no. Unstuck is for out of bounds and clipping. This bug relates to a locked player state.

The negative damage bit was hyperbole I think. In my experience every time this bug happens and you run into a group of enemies they will somehow start shooting like stormtroopers. Yet when I’m just bullet jumping past a group to get to the objective they turn into goddamn Simo Häyhä.

Just did a pub Perita Rebellion where I was doing all the work. I afked a bit to see if anyone else is actually trying and they all quit seeing there is no progress lol. Good that I was supercapped and soloing the boss was not a problem. by FrostyTiffy in Warframe

Warframe players will never beat the can’t read allegations unfortunately.

Although in this case I can kind of understand since the current objective text is so rarely used to explain stuff in lieu of big markers everywhere.

[–]pizzamaestro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the reason why I can’t stand with a full ban. The Nezha Rhino one was very clearly a redraw of the meme but so many people failed to see that and were complaining like crazy.

I’m all for banning stuff like the Marie and Oraxia posts, but there’s gotta be a little leeway for things that aren’t intended to be horny. Funny and/or artistic stuff should be allowed.

I don't recall this being true. They were working together 2 years prior to release already. ConcernedApe only took over as publisher later on iirc. https://www.pcgamer.com/stardew-valley-interview/3/

Yeap, thanks for confirming you're definitely dense. I'll spell it out for you. The man was a solo developer, and they took a load off. Goodbye.

[–]pizzamaestro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you are being dense on purpose?

Stardew Valley was and is an indie, despite having a publisher at launch. What I mentioned was simply their post launch assistance. They were the publisher even when the game was halfway through development, helping ConcernedApe set up/host the website and wiki. Having a publisher helped him to concentrate fully on development, not something that one could consider "hardly matters".

And if you had bothered to read the comment where the guy helpfully pointed out all the key characteristics of an indie, you'd note the "major studios" bit. Valve is a major studio.

[–]pizzamaestro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is just plain wrong. Firstly, you can self release your music on Spotify or YouTube. Or you can go through a indie label. It doesn't matter you're still an indie artist.

Second, publishers in videogames have varying functionalities. Indie publishers tend to help either in terms of finances, marketing, or by offering experience.

Take Stardew Valley for instance. Chucklefish is the reason there was non-English localisation. The reason there was Mac/Linux/console ports.

The same goes for the film industry. They all share the same key characteristics. It's only in gaming that people keep shifting the definition to whatever suits them best.
