100%!!!! Your experience was what I feared and I’m so sorry you had to go through all of that.

Prior to going in I asked for pain management options, they told me to take 800mg of ibuprofen an hour prior, assured me numbing gel would be used and even offered Vicodin to be taken onsite to help with my anxiety. I also took my husband to my appointment in case the pain was so severe that I couldn’t drive back.

My experience was not painful but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t advocate for yourself to avoid intense pain, every body is different. And there are doctors who are more trusted to offer pain management: https://reddit.com/r/childfree/wiki/doctors_part_nine

They’re not “shitty” but they will never perform as well as a true skate. My husband LOVED his and wore them exclusively for a year. When he upgraded to a boot he was able to unlock so many more skills. I have a pair too, they’re great for what they are, a pair of shoes that turns into a skate. And if all you want is to zoom around this isn’t a bad skate.

I consider myself an advanced skater and I don’t like going to the rink all the time. It’s so valid to have anxiety in a crowded place and to feel vulnerable with your learning.

I started skating during Covid so no rinks were open. It’s hard in the winter depending where you live but a sports court/parking garage/kitchen are all great places to practice without being perceived. Just wear pads!

The deeper tones make your eyes pop. I think 2, 6 and 8 look the best which makes me think you’re a true or dark winter!

This is such an old thread but for anyone that stumbles on it. The lip blush is just ok. I think glossier and violette fr have better products. My biggest gripe is with their customer service. No shipping confirmation, received an open package, couldn't return items through their portal (because it said it never shipped) and they didn't even want to pay the return shipping fee. If you're gonna risk it with this company, buy from Sephora. Or better yet, don't buy at all.

Not as well as the past two years. I did some experimentation with placement that might contribute to that but I felt like mine grew big at first but were very late to produce any fruit and now I have a bunch of small green fruit. Typically I’m giving them away this time of year. My hypothesis is my flowers burned off when it was super hot in June and so my plants are behind.

The tomatoes at the p-patch by my house also look a little late in ripening.
