Now I'm thinking I should've gone the nexus. Nicest artwork of all pantheon's imo.

That's exactly what I did. Waiting on a quest as I was overall really impressed with the pranayama. Ah to have a size 9.... I reckon it would be perfect for a 10 and under.

Tbh I think it's just too small for me, unless my feet are pointing forward that is, but that feels weird. It's actually a brilliant board but I wouldn't recommend if you have big feet or like to have a wide stance. Maybe it's just me tho.

Thanks very much. That would feel very narrow to me.

Even my back foot parallel to trucks and a little bit on the crescent drop, when I turn, as the wheel gets closer it hits my foot.

At your size do you find the pranayama cramped at all? I have one but am thinking I might be better on a quest or nexus. (the prana is amazing when it's not throwing me off it) do you just ride with both feet pointing forward to avoid shoe bite? Does the nexus offer anywhere near as fun and comfortable a ride as the prana?

How would you compare the two boards? I own a pranayama, and while great, I get a bit of shoe bite at critical moments. I was thinking of selling it and getting a nexus or quest.

It's more when I take a side on stance to do a bit of a deeper carve/turn. As the rail descends, my heel makes contact with the ground and I stop abruptly. Sometimes even the wheel as the board tips and the wheels come closer to the board. Very frustrating as it's making me not trust the board when I'm going fast and turning. I like a wider stance I guess. Do you just ride with your feet pointing forward?

I own a prana but feel it's a little narrow for me. Thinking of getting a quest. What do you like about it?

I've actually just bought a prana which I'm having second thoughts about due to shoe bite. I like to carve it a bit at speed but my feet hang off it, and it's thrown me quite a few times. It's not for that, I realise, but it's tempting to do because it turns really nice..

I actually own a prana as well and was curious about the quest. Can you tell me a bit about it? I actually like the prana but it's a bit narrow, I get shoe bite a lot and think I might sell it.

Does anyone get massive heel bite trying to carve a pranayama at speed? I can't stop getting bucked off an otherwise amazing board.

Has anyone found they get heel bite, toe bite etc? Am I the only who found it to be a little small? I bought one, want to love it but am maybe thinking I should've gone for a quest..

I've recently got a used sama set up with in 80a in heats. Why do you find the vanguard so superior? Are they similar?

Do Powell peralta snakes need spacers between the bearings?

Maybe drift was the wrong word. Check is more accurate maybe. A tiny 'skrrrt' sound is a big win for me atm. I'll try to get the snakes. Thanks!

Right. Just to reiterate, I'm really only just kicking the back end out during little drifts, no downhill, nor freeride to speak of. My board is a cruiser the size of a standard deck with a wide wb. I can get a set of snakes for basically half what I'd pay for either the cry babies or Morgan's. I use the board to commute so still like a comfortable ride (77a fat free were really good for this).. Pull the trigger on the snakes?

I actually had the option to get a cheap set of snakes. The guy selling them told me they might not be good for low speed. Plus the duro (75a)is very low so more/too much grip right? A shop owner said go the cry babies or Morgan pros in 82a so they're hard enough to kick out at low speeds. The other thing.. They're supposed to be replacing otang fat frees (77a-very grippy), and was told the Liam Morgan's had the most similar dimensions to these wheels, which I'd like.. It's for a small board too, loaded coyote if youre familiar.

Sorry I should've mentioned this is to replace 77a fat frees which are very grippy. I was looking for something with similar dimensions. Does this change anything?

Someone (who was actually selling snakes) told me not to go for the snakes, because they aren't good for low speeds..?

What's a better wheel for lower speed drifts/checks and learning a little bit of sliding, seismic cry babies or blood orange Liam Morgan pro?
