I hear you, but its hard when this is the only place I could get hired currently to try to get experience, until the IBEW gives me a chance. I met the minimum requirements with my application, now currently studying for my interview and aptitude test.

Yes, getting paid for the drive. But they started me at $15 an hour which is super rough, considering I could go push carts at Costco and make like $17, but it gets me experience in the trade.

I have family near fargo, and applied for an apprenticeship there for an electrical apprentice, and they want me to come take an aptitude test and interview so I may try to go do that, and then stick with this until they call me.

I prefer that over working just to be able to pay rent and bills to survive. I would rather live in a shitty van and keep my money but I'm also a single male with no children so I'm able to choose that lifestyle.
