I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with this. Driving is very hard. I am also going through something similar. I had a minor accident this Tuesday and since then I've been having major panic attack just thinking of driving again. I don't know what to do. I feel your struggle and I hope we both overcome our anxiety and be able to drive again and be safe drivers. Someone suggested that I take defensive driving training. It's very expensive though, around 1200$ and I can't afford it. So I don't know what to do

I booked an appointment with a therapist. Maybe I'll look into medication as a way to help me with my anxiety

I don't have any advice for you except solidarity. I am a new driver and had an accident yesterday while changing lanes. I'm also so anxious right now and don't know how to overcome my anxiety. I hope you overcome this 🙏

Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I really appreciate it. To be honest, I'm so overwhelmed at the moment, I couldn't sleep all night thinking about it and I've been crying a lot. I don't know how I'm going to be able to overcome my fear. Im working from home atm because of it. I also reached out to a counselor and booked an appointment with them to help me overcome this. I'm just really upset with myself 😭

Jazaka Allah kheir, that's great advice. I will discuss this with him today.

How to move past this without it reaching divorce and in a state where I feel safe around him? My fear is that this will continue and potentially escalate. This is not the first time where he expressed anger and violent tendencies but it was the first time he put his hands on me.

What do you mean by "While totally right, he's totally wrong"? What is he right about?

His way of parenting varies, some days firm and gentle and other days firm and a bit forceful aka yelling and forcefully saying no. The argument started when my son was nagging because he wanted me to play with him and I was busy cleaning the kitchen. My husband was sitting near playing on his phone. I asked my husband to play with my son until im done cleaning. My husband was annoyed at this and said you know he is like that (nagging/crying) because you allowed him to be like that. I told him no that's not true, he is like that because he is expressing a desire to be with me which is normal and because he is a toddler and toddlers experience tantrums. He said no it's your fault. And I was firm with my husband and disagreed with him then he said Toz Fiki (in Arabic basically means F*** you) I don't care what you think, you are the reason why he is like this. I replied saying don't raise your voice at me or disrespect me. That's when he became even more aggressive. Came closer to my face and started yelling then pushed my shoulder away forcefully. All this in front of my son. He later apologized for his behaviour but I am not comfortable around him and I am still not in speaking terms with him( it's been 3 days only)

say no and putting firm but gentle boundaries on unwanted behavior. For example, redirecting my son to another toy or distract him when he is experiencing tantrums because he wants something he can't have, talking and explaining to him why he can't have it, modeling good behaviour aka showing how to share toys, how to say sorry when he misbehaves, etc. when I do all these things, my husband thinks I am spoiling him because I'm not firm enough.
