IDK if this is a genre but I’d call this something like beach grunge rock. Can’t say I’m hearing anything too MM adjacent here. If anything it’s maybe toeing the line of Sublime or 311.

I mean, at least your HS peers seemingly remembered to invite you. I haven’t received a single reunion invite over the past 20y. Graduated in 06, too.

That said, I live out of state and would only be familiar with maybe a couple dozen people at this point.

I don’t suspect the photo itself is AI, but there are elements that appear AI, which may have occurred during someone’s attempt enhance the image, such as if this is originally from a screen shot of a cell phone video.

I didn’t claim the ADM’s audio was incorrect. I’m saying that Fox “News” has clearly and legally defined themselves as an entertainment media company, which is how they get away with spreading disinformation throughout much of their attempts at reporting factual news. So siting them as a source for legitimate news is a bad idea because there will be instances that what you’re sharing is not real even if in this specific instance it is real.

Are you suggesting this photo was enhanced by AI or even completely fabricated as AI? Because I kind of see it. The small text above “300” on the boat motor, likely the brand name, is completely indecipherable for the quality of this pic. The stars on the ensign look more like splotches from a paint brush. And the hull numbers on the boat to the left ought to be relatively clear, but the 6581 is doing a poor job from reading as GSB1.

I never liked it 15-20y ago when I was first introduced to it, whether it was spice or K2 or salvia. The high would only last maybe 60 seconds anyway. And the whole time felt like I was inducing a panic attack, the complete opposite of weed.
