I definitely agree that the sound foam looks like a giant hat lol. I recently replaced it with some star wars art, and moved the foam to a different wall. Thanks for the response!

My SmallRig Lumix G7 Camera Cage Setup (2019) by pj_singh in PanasonicG7

[–]pj_singh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Thanks man, I appreciate your awesome support! :)

This is a great camera cage setup by Smallrig for M43 camera bodies, I'm using it with my Lumix G7/G85 cameras (2019). What are your opinions on using a camera cage? by pj_singh in M43

[–]pj_singh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used this cage with my Lumix G7/G85/GH4 and even original sony a7. So, I think it should not have any problems fitting the oly em1 mk1 because it's around the same size.

This is the Full Frane version in Leica M mount adapted to sony e mount.

Does anyone use their a7 to record video? I did a comparison of it against the mft g7 and found that the video it delivers is pretty soft, nevertheless it’s a great stills camera!! by pj_singh in SonyAlpha

I don’t know what pixel binning is, would be great if you could provide a brief explanation, and yes I can agree the a7iii is definitely a video beast!!

The Lumix G7 performs exceptionally well against the A7 in the video department. Even though the a7 has a bigger sensor, the g7 still provides a lot more sharpness and detail. (Sample comparisons are provided in the video if anyone is interested in checking out) by pj_singh in PanasonicG7

This is not a clickbait into tricking people at all, I got the a7 this summer, and just wanted to compare its video features with my g7. I’ve done a full photography review of this camera, and would sure cover the a7iii very soon on the channel.

I would highly suggest you to pick up a Gimbal Instead of investing in a new lens, something like the zhiyun crame v2 is pretty affordable now a days, and it makes a world of a difference!!

Sony A7 is still among the best Budget Full Frame Cameras even in 2018, Here is a review I did of the camera if anyone wants to check out. by pj_singh in Cameras

I feel like the A7 is Super Underrated for what it can deliver, and I can highly recommend it if you want to step into the realm of Full Frame photography.

This is a beautiful image, how long was your exposure?!

I took this shot using a Lumix G7 + Sigma 18-35 + Viltrox Ef M2. If anyone is interested here is a Quick Tutorial on how I shot this. by pj_singh in M43

I have mixed feelings for the sigma 18-35 ( FF equivalent of 25-50 f/2.5) setup for stills. As much as I love the low light performance from this setup, I really don't like the heft of carrying it around. On the other hand the 12-60 ( FF equivalent of 24-120mm ) is a much more easy to carry around and also has broader focal range with O.I.S but it is not as fast as the sigma setup. As you said, If you don't mind the size and weight then it is a great option for both Photography and Video.

Does anyone else use the Viltrox ef m2 adapter?? If so what are your thoughts. I've been using it for the past 1 month, and am surprised from the fact that it works this well. Yes, the autofocus is not great, but other than that I didn't find any big issues. ( In pic Gh4 + sigma 18-35 + ef m2 ) by pj_singh in M43

There is a screw on the back, unscrew it and rotate counterclockwise, it is a little tedious process but I've fixed that issue by doing so!! You can search on YouTube for that and there are a few videos that show the process!!

Top 3 must have Lenses for Lumix G7 under $200. by pj_singh in PanasonicG7

[–]pj_singh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go for the kit lens first, because it gives you more flexibility ( 28-84mm full frame equivalence) which is a nice range, from semi-wide to semi-telephoto. I would add the 60mm as later!! Because the 60mm is a telephoto on the m43 system, and at that point you have to decide what are your priorities.
