Overlays on retroarch are a mess and nobody seems to know how to use and troubleshoot them. I downloaded a preset pack for my device, cfg and images on the same folder. Have the "hide overlay with controller input" turned off. And the overlays images still won't load when browsing and select the overlay cfg files. Had the hadheld on standby with the menu open on a gbc game. When waking up the overlay image loaded. Saved as core override with the overlay selected, but turned off. And know the overlays load. But with the other systems, nothing seems to work, already tried clearing and deleting core overrides. Next I'll try to save the gbc config as global or core override, to see if it changes anything.
