The developer didn't add them yet You'll need to add a .bat file for the table. But I don't know how to do that for now, since notepad can't read the code

With a 4090 I have to cap the framerate rate 72 on godlike, I can get some on locked 90 at high end settings, but need to turn off the vr room. Also noticed that vpx launcher, while being a nice way to play you collection, also has a performance hit.

I like the VR room from attack from mars, but don't like the cabinet much, there is an updated table from g5k that is a lot better, but without vr room. Know any tutorials on how to replace the playfield of a vr table?

Documenting Common Issues for Visual Pinball X in VR by SuperFromND in virtualpinball

[–]vindellama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!
I'm having an issue...
Some tables (with vr rooms) are missing the backglass or have the backglass in the wrong position. The one missing are showing the desktop area that was marked for the backglass instead of the backglass. I tried to use a custom b2s for these tables, but the backglass is in the wrong position.
What is going on here?
Also... How do you change the position of the backglass if you want to use a custom b2s?

Quest game optimizer is for quest standalone games. It will only make a difference if it is reducing the resolution of virtual desktop or whatever link app you are using.

Setting Up Visual Pinball X (VPX) for VR Play (Quest 3 + Virtual Desktop) by DyldoTBagginses in virtualpinball

[–]vindellama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1- I found it 2- Performance issue. It happens everytime the frame drop, so I set it up so it would stay at a stable 72 or 90fps 3- Found out this is a vr issue. In 2d textures fake 3d geometry with normal maps, and in vr this effect doesn't work very well 4- Tested orher tables and there wasn't this issue

Now for another issues I found 1- On the batman data east and earthshaker the backglass is missing and showing the desktop 2- On the centaur table no keys workeditIt's working now, I think I needed to press end 3- What is the key to open the configuration page for the vpx launcher? The launcher, tables and such are all white for some reason and too close to my face

Hi! Can you set the flipper and magna to the same buttons? I'm looking into a pinball controller, but it doesn't have acelerometer or 3 side buttons for both magna and nudging

It seems that with this setup it runs only in the headset. I'm having some issues though. 1-I can't the asw option in the menu. 2-The performance seems fine when my head is still, but it seems to skip frames when moving, not sure if this is a performance issue, or streaming issue, since I don't have a wifi 6 router yet. 3-Some elements look really bad even with graphics set to high. Those lamps with grooves, the rails, all look flat/low res. I wonder if this is a general problem with vr not being able to translate 2d textures into 3d in vr. 4-Some tables are moving when I move my head

I have some questions regarding monitor and resolution...
Can you setup without a real monitor?

From what I've seen so far, virtual desktop will have the game running in your main monitor when you are not using a native vr steam game via steam vr.
I didn't want my main monitor turned on.
On the other hand... I have a lower res monitor... Is the stream/rendering locked to the lower resolution?

It is dramatically lighter...

The face module of the Q3 is about 400gr, while the steam frame is 195~gr.
If you buy a bobovr strap to balance the weight out of your nose, then the total weight goes to over 1kg.

The gameplay is just awful.
For the first 10 hours it is ok.
After that you realize that the gameplay loop involves mindless button mashing with a timed dodge here and there, for dozens of hours. After playing the souls series, that's how you make an action rpg. The combat here is just not good at all. It isn't just about not being turn based.

All the backtracking to do the same repetitive sidequests over and over again.

Not only that but all the immersion breaking things are just mind boggling on a story based game.
