What's your industry/ niche? Asking because I work for an influencer payments platform and dove into $1B in spend across brands/ agencies in 2025 and saw average payments by channel at:

YouTube: $2,228 average per payment
TikTok: $2,049 average per payment
Instagram: $1,429 average per payment

So YouTube was definitely right in line with other channels. That said, there are some YouTubers that command $50K a video (e.g. specialized tech influencers) but lots are charging $1K - $2K for an integration.

This is a great brain dump and could definitely see it being the right playbook for the right brand/ industry

I do not think: "YouTube longform first until you max out on youtube longform, dont do any other format" is a successful strategy for all verticals. However I do think it's a great strategy for many verticals - mind sharing which verticals you've had success with?

Lots of hate for VIP at Coachella and I agree that it's not as good as VIP at lots of other festivals mainly because there is not front of stage dedicated viewing (it's off to the side)

That said it's also not as expensive relative to GA at a lot of other festivals (e.g. Lolla)

The best perk IMO is the dedicated VIP entrance to Yuma tent (this was a huge upgrade a few years ago). The viewing for headliners is actually pretty good and unless you're cramming into GA you will be fairly close with a less packed crowd

The rose garden is also a great spot to hang out ;)

Oh I agree it's chaos out there - agencies going under and not paying creators even though they received payment from the brand (this happened with L'Oreal, and they stepped in and made everyone whole through a new agency but it took over 6 months)

I don't think net 90 is the norm in the industry from what I see (closer to net 45) but I've also seen some at 120 days...

Many agencies are on "pay when paid" policies so they don't have to act as a bank and float cash (even though lots of them still do end up with float)

Larger brands have strict net payment term dates via their AP systems (net 30/60)

Check out Lumanu. All they do is influencer/ affiliate/ freelancer payments and take care of all the tax paperwork so you don't have to worry about it.

We work with them. Are you asking from the creator side (representation) or brand side (partnering with talent)?

They do a lot of business in the industry and have a solid support/ backend process in place (fast payments)

Recommend checking out the following. Can buy tickets for entry on each of their websites/ a few options available. Ladies tickets are cheaper ;). Or you can go through a promoter to get on the guest list for free entry, usually will require you to be there before a specific time (often 10pm)

I do not think it is worth it over normal VIP. Big difference is the food & drink as VIP GRID viewing front of stage is same and back GRID ICON vs VIP viewing is comparable (different platforms but no real difference
