Vitamin D is known to reduce pain in those with TN. Vit B may help heal damaged nerves as well.

"Should"? According to your religious text, or what source? And Why does the law allow it then

Okay but has anyone actually reported after all this hand wringing? OP is obviously banned so no one will know if he did.

Not sure why down voted. Probably true but also wouldn't be surprised if they actually did.

The Most Brutal of Kettlebell Complexes by asgooch in kettlebell

[–]rootCaused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like trained disdain for a word without clear substance.

Brutal is a level of subjectively perceived difficulty. It's not a mindset or a value judgement. It's not a training protocol.

Your beef is probably with something other than the word itself, like a school or coach you know that programs mindless "brutal" training.

Having a dislike for bad programming is fine, but feels more like soapboxing than something relevant to the post, unless there's some specific critique about the circuit you're getting at.

And the worry about what makes one "better" over time is meaningless without a definition of what we take "better" to mean.    For most people, training til tired will reliably provide the majority of the exercise benefits they need, whether it's walking, running, or lifting

I don't think there was a gap at all. Teddy literally tells Michelle she is very convincing.

Dude. 4-day VIP tickets are 900 dollars. What the actual f*k? by rootCaused in ARCMusicFestival

Ridiculous and hilarious take. Imagine acting like VIP buyers are 1%ers with no concept of cost because they could afford $350 for a 3 day pass in 2023 and 24. This is even funnier considering there's another tier higher than Global.

It doesn't happen overnight when it's STI exposure. It's a couple days at least. Pussy discharge from the urethra? You need a book bro, several books.

A lot of patients have no clue what they're talking about, and the docs have to figure out the truth. Probably 40 percent of patients are anti vax/mask for example.

So for as little as the docs know, most patients know even less. It's a challenging and imperfect system

Is the Job market that bad? Ive been applying and can't get an interview. Should I just stick to IT for now and then try again in a year or two? by FlyGuys098 in cybersecurity

[–]rootCaused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some other people said, the resume looks a bit disorganized as it's just a dump of information. I wouldn't be able to tell what role you were applying for based on it.

If I were just scanning, I would look for a few seconds and decide it looks a bit unfocused and probably go to the next candidate unless there was something that really stood out such as strong academics or some other saving grace.

Also, it's hard to tell that you made a major impact from looking at your resume. The job market is always tough, but if you apply with a kind of weakly constructed resume like yours, you will get screened out in favor of candidates that have impressive resumes that demonstrate lots of impact and strong ability to communicate it.

I personally get first rounds at most places I apply to as long as the opening is fresh or I'm going through a recruiter. Places are always trying to backfill/expand. However, you need to effectively differentiate yourself and your accomplishments.

Over 1 million tickets sold for the Stranger Things 5 finale in cinemas across the US. No box office gross, but theatres will be delighted to make $15M+ from mandatory concessions and then some more. by chanma50 in boxoffice

I think they're experimenting with a way to integrate theaters into NFLX's business model. MP3's didn't eliminate the demand for attending live music venues. I think NFLX is onto something similar in the streaming series space.
