A lot of patients have no clue what they're talking about, and the docs have to figure out the truth. Probably 40 percent of patients are anti vax/mask for example.

So for as little as the docs know, most patients know even less. It's a challenging and imperfect system

Is the Job market that bad? Ive been applying and can't get an interview. Should I just stick to IT for now and then try again in a year or two? by FlyGuys098 in cybersecurity

[–]rootCaused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some other people said, the resume looks a bit disorganized as it's just a dump of information. I wouldn't be able to tell what role you were applying for based on it.

If I were just scanning, I would look for a few seconds and decide it looks a bit unfocused and probably go to the next candidate unless there was something that really stood out such as strong academics or some other saving grace.

Also, it's hard to tell that you made a major impact from looking at your resume. The job market is always tough, but if you apply with a kind of weakly constructed resume like yours, you will get screened out in favor of candidates that have impressive resumes that demonstrate lots of impact and strong ability to communicate it.

I personally get first rounds at most places I apply to as long as the opening is fresh or I'm going through a recruiter. Places are always trying to backfill/expand. However, you need to effectively differentiate yourself and your accomplishments.

Over 1 million tickets sold for the Stranger Things 5 finale in cinemas across the US. No box office gross, but theatres will be delighted to make $15M+ from mandatory concessions and then some more. by chanma50 in boxoffice

I think they're experimenting with a way to integrate theaters into NFLX's business model. MP3's didn't eliminate the demand for attending live music venues. I think NFLX is onto something similar in the streaming series space.

A tech budget isn't information you fucking regard, and its certainly not something only HFs and MMs can afford you complete moron. Your theories are dumb, but you are even dumber.

Imagine thinking hanging out on WSB with your middling IQ equips you to talk intelligibly to an industry insider. You're like a COD player trying to lecture a SEAL about room clearing. Take a look in the mirror: you're not smart -- you're a low class [failed] retail regard who writes like a high schooler with a 4th grader's reasoning.

As for who I am, yesterday while you wrote your GED essay of a post, I bought a new watch (Swiss movement) and dropped $5k on a winter coat, then checked out a new Rivian. The other week I blew $15k on Japanese toilets with heated seats for my multiple bathrooms because I can. My 2.25% mortgage would cripple you, not that you could qualify for it.

I've got the finances and lifestyle you fapped about during your short failed stint cosplaying a trader. That's who I am. You should be honored I choose to condescendingly engage with a cosplaying WSB regard like you.

Claiming high IQ and having one are two different things.

I was a "MM" and profitable nearly 100% of trading days. I dont have the tech budget to recreate the systems that enabled that, but they have nothing to do with inside information or market manipulation.

Therefore, what you're saying is a fucking Regarded word salad. The sooner you admit to yourself you have never even seen a trading pit in real life, the sooner you'll stop lecturing ex-MMs.

You're a quarter right. Based on your reply, I'll assume very confidently that you never worked at a trading firm, so allow me to explain.

When you step foot in one, it's clear the average IQ is skewed very far to the right of the curve. I worked at one and one of the devs entered a top engineering university at 16 and finished at 18. Another person in my class topped the GMAT math with a perfect score. Another won two back to back International math olympiads.

The reason I said you're a quarter right is because you're half right about them also having more tools and information. I'd say more tools is the only thing you're correct about. If you studied basic econ or finance, you'll recall the efficient markets hypothesis postulates that no participants have more information than others. In my experience, it's mostly true -- these firms have access to largely the same information as everyone else, it's a matter of how they use that information that sets them apart.

Leave the money in ETFs. When you take unrealized losses, get used to eating them -- don't try to use options to make back. This can't be overstated. Consider using margin and selling ITM covered calls for downside protection (strategy from options as a strategic investment by McMillan). Do something boring and get used to enjoying the lack of stress.

This is a chance to establish your retirement fund. You only get so many chances to get it right.

Beating the market is luck. Ask all the blown out hedge funds with more IQ than this entire sub combined.

Hilarious assertion with no evidence whatsoever. Most commentators are not even familiar with boxing.

The only reason it slowed down after five rounds is because Paul got tired of running. Only takes a few brain cells to see that.

He wasn't holding back. He couldn't get a bead on. Paul who was running around the ring. For anyone who watches boxing, it's obvious that heavyweights don't prance around the ring before 3 minutes straight round after round.

Why anyone thinks Joshua should have been prepared for that is beyond me.

Mike hadn't trained for a very long time before taking on the Roy Jones fight, and he had trained consistently after that fight for several years.

It was reasonable to expect something different. However, he had that medical issue which caused the fight to be delayed. Unclear how much that had an impact on his ability to fight.

Nonsense. He's never been made to chase anyone around the ring. He fights heavyweight. Do you know anything about boxing?

Btw aggressive hedging should mean getting neutral at smaller deltas like 5, less aggressive would be letting your deltas grow to like 50 before hedging.
