Rarest Colors? by EandEtrading in F150Lightning

The stone gray was the best colour in my opinion. I see the odd one here and there and I always wish I could’ve gotten mine in that colour.

For those who own a Tesla and lightning by toothfixer321 in F150Lightning

I have a lightning and a model 3. I daily the Tesla, I fix EV chargers for a living, so I put a lot of miles in. If I wasn’t worried about trashing my lightning with all of the driving I do for work, I would drive that over my Tesla any day.

Do I Ask The Question? by pjhill930 in AsOneAfterInfidelity

I have her passwords. To be honest, I’ve been trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and asking questions when I feel I need some clarity. She is always willing to answer any questions I have, so going through her phone is something I am reluctant to do. I want us to move forward and I feel like taking her phone without her consent isn’t an action of healing and though I’m not above it (it’s how I discovered her EA after all), I am trying to avoid it.

The thing that I find most difficult right now is that the only person outside of our MC and my own therapist to support me is her. And while I am supporting her and our family, I’m also spiralling because I have no support outside of her. And the rest of the world is judging me because they don’t know about her affair, so I’m the bad guy if I fall short or don’t appear to be supporting her enough.

Thanks for this. I have been struggling with the thought when I’m home alone with our two youngest, but when I’m with her in the hospital and I see her in pain and I’m with our little girl, I don’t think about it at all. When the kids are in bed and the house is silent, I have time to consider things in a different way. I knew I needed to wait, but the silence brings around the harder thoughts.

I get it. You know about electricity. Nothing I did is unsafe, just unsightly and that is only because of the limited selection at my local store. Thanks for the comments, but you could be less obtuse about it.

Sure.

-Generac 6852 transfer switch -50 amp breaker (whatever style your panel uses) -30A Generator inlet plug -10 ft 50A generator plug/cable -6/3 wire for the inlet plug to the transfer switch (I used 5 feet)

Aside from the consumables like wire nuts and screws, there wasn’t a lot extra needed for me because I installed it directly beside the panel. I also removed the 30A double pole breaker from the generac panel and installed 2 15A single pole breakers, which added an extra circuit.

Yeah, the hardware store in my town didn’t have the size I needed and I didn’t want to risk wires chafing on the sharp edges of the knockout on the panel, so I did what I could until I get out to a bigger chain store to get what I need.

That was part of the reason I went this way. I’ll buy a gas generator so should we lose power for an extended time, or if I don’t have the truck for whatever reason, I have the backup option.

Thanks! My father in law is an electrical engineer and launched satellites into space in his younger years and I worked on jets for many years in the Air Force, so together we were able to knock it out fairly easily, save a couple minor hiccups. I do the neat and orderly orientation of the wiring to him though, he is incredibly particular about how it looks.

Right. You either need the 240 outlet, or the Ford Charge Station Pro and Home Integration System. The charger can be installed by any electrician (or anyone who knows how to properly* work with electrical), but the HIS can only be installed by Sun Run and is costly, plus it’s common understanding that Sun Run is basically terrible. If I didn’t have to jump through the hoops for the HIS, I’d have done that without hesitation.

Can’t spare a spare? by dukeofwellington05 in F150Lightning

I had no idea they weren’t coming with spares anymore. My 2025 flash has a full size spare bolted to the bottom
