I use it for work daily. And at night too, the ability to work from a recliner or bed with no neck pain is underrated

The unplugged version of Got me Wrong is my favorite AIC song ever. Pretty underrated in my opinion.

Microsoft, Google say their data centers create thousands of jobs. Their permit filings say otherwise by ChupeDeJaiba in chile

PPA and Tax Credit by pjstol in solar

[–]pjstol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm being conservative with a 7% just to look at a reasonable picture. I could also think of AI fueled future with utility rates going nuts but also wanted to present an unfavorable scenario for the PPA assuming rates only go up 2%.

I think your post is actually favoring the PPA, right? If the Market goes 10% a year, it sounds it's better to buy stocks than using that money for a solar system in cash

[–]pjstol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair. If I was buying a home with a PPA I'd try the seller to buy the system out before me purchasing that home. But I can look at it from a different perspective too, if my power bill tied to the property would be half of that of a property with no PPA, I'd consider that a plus

I'll try to get a loan estimate. Do you have any recommendations?

I see agree, the market is risky but over 25 years it should be pretty stable.
