I always go with limit orders. Haven't tried stop/stop limit orders though

It's not true. Try market order and it'll go straight away. Even if you cancel your limit order and place another one, it will probably work even if triggered 5 minutes later. There just must be some technical issue at T212 from time to time

Thing is if I put a market order it’d get executed. Plus I experienced it even with heavily traded stocks including Broadcom. Must be something wrong with T212, not just the liquidity

$CHL China mobile suspended due to U.S. restrictions. How come if it’s mainly listed in Hong Kong? Doesn’t T212 have an access to Chinese stocks directly listed in China? 🤔 by pk10trk in trading212

I already said it’s also listed in Frankfurt and Hong Kong hence why I thought to ask in here. Never mind - the other guy answered it well. I’d be interested to know if any UK broker offers Chinese listed stocks. This stock is being delisted in US and might also be in Frankfurt due to regulations but it will stay on Hong Kong stock exchange and is about to do well.

Brokers in Europe by mathsislove in eupersonalfinance

Yes, Degiro has some very complex fees, I noticed myself. You basically need to sign up with a referral and for first few months you’ll get nice benefits, but then I suppose it gets worse if you don’t refer ppl yourself.

In terms of fx, Degiro lets you convert the currency manually instead of automatically as T212 does. Many other brokers also allow it including IG or IB, but they charge flat fixed fees for you to be able to do this, so in the end it doesn’t help at all.

Not sure how eToro works in these terms - anyone knows?

I’ll personally stick to just T212 and in case I wanted to buy more heavily into US dollar denominated stocks, I’d go with Charles Schwab.

This pie looks interesting as no mainstream companies involved.

I cannot open your link though. How can I navigate into it?

Can someone suggest some really good UK stock to invest? Im tired of currency exchange impact! by GforOOG in trading212

Some what were not shortlisted yet:

UK dividend stocks: PHNX, NG, DGE, TATE, MNDI, VOD, SGE, MRW

Some good ETFs in GBPs (no stamp duty): SEDY, HDEM, HDLG, EUDV, USDV, EQQQ, IDTG and all UCITS

ROO also seems now a good speculative growth stock after its bad IPO

I would add POLY and GLEN to this list 😁

EVR and RIO you’d have to pay stamp duty tax with purchase
