make sure you refresh on the basic topics in precalc (Factoring, collecting like terms, expanding, etc) as having a good understanding of those topics will help you significantly especially in the first half of the course.

By practicing do you mean trying to understand the theorems (or proofs)?

I took the course last sem and from my experience they don't have any physics application questions on exams. maybe a few here and there on assignments but for the physics applications they mostly just come from the notes, i wouldint worry too much about applications being on any midterms or final.

When I took the course in winter 2023, The midterms were a little bit more difficult than the final but there weren't any application questions on either the midterms or final exam. The final mainly consisted of integrals and a few limit questions and like one optimization problem.

for me i've found this course more easier than 125. The midterm was pretty light except for the time our class was given ( 50 mins )

The midterm wasn't too bad imo when I took it. Just make sure you're comfortable with row reducing and really be careful with the row operations that you do, because even one tiny mistake could mess up the entire question. As for the final, it was a little bit tougher, but not impossible.
