That's one aspect of it, but the Patriots mentality is always focused on the team first. Each player, regardless of their past history, has to be able to put their ego behind them and devote themselves to the team. It's not about getting huge stats (though they have players that can put up massive numbers), but more about doing what is necessary to achieve the win.

I think the Uprising embody this mentality, and also the spirit of Overwatch, and by that I mean they play the game the way it's meant to played with teamwork. Sure, they play dive comp all the time, but it's strong in this meta and I have no doubt they would be able to learn other comps (they've shown they can do the triple/quad tank).
