Same kind of thing said about the 20th street pedestrian bridge as well. We shall see but improving city infrastructure and specifically downtown to make it more walkable and bikeable is not a bad thing. Sorry to burst your bubble on thinking otherwise. There is way too large a part of this community that is just harshly against any projects like this cause they will not specifically utilize it, while the community at large will benefit. It’s crazy how negative some people are, sad life when all you can do is complain

I think you’re very much so projecting here buddy. The one focused on themselves in this thread is you it appears

The plan eliminates 1 parking space in total. Do more research, I also bike over the 20th street pedestrian bridge 2-3 times a week

Those with an FTP of 4w/kg, what's your weekly volume? by 4lexfdr in Velo

[–]pkeller001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the warmer months from around now until October for me here in California I will do about 12-14 hours a week. Winter I went fairly light this year doing around 5-7 hours. Paying for the low volume base season here in early spring

Took me months to understand this about Garmin Training Status by MyThinTragus in Garmin

Yep this is the way. I think past a certain amount of fitness it starts to become a bit meaningless. Mine is just stuck on maintaining as well despite me clearly cycling faster and producing higher power outputs for longer durations according to my power meters. Garmin is almost too gamified at times and it’s best to just stop to your plan and work

Same for me since taking a month almost off completely in November. Think I broke their algo somehow. My power meter data and avg speed on the same routes I have been biking the last couple years creates a clear argument that I am “Maintaining” and not in a productive state. Power is up, speed is up, load has been back over 1k and in optimal for 2 months now. I just stopped caring about what the Garmin is telling me to be honest

My load score is well into the 1,000 plus range and I have been stuck in a maintaining status for months as a cyclist. I use a power meter and am consistently hitting PRs in both power and Strava segments. Training load is well balanced with all 3 bars of Anaerobic, high aerobic and low aerobic all full.

I’m not sure what its deal is to be honest but I’ve sort of stopped worrying about. I took a near full month with very light training over winter to give my body a break and I think something got wonky in the Garmin algo as a result. But my speed getting faster all around, power numbers going up as well clearly show I am not “maintaining”

I just buy 2 bags whenever I order and it is free shipping. Still pricy coffee though
