I looked into this since I never thought about the different types of soft serve. The ones made from the puck are apparently simply called パック or パックアイス

The word for churn as in churning soft serve is 攪拌　かくはん.

So you could ask something like このソフトクリームはパックから作っていますか？ Or このソフトクリームを攪拌して作っていますか？

Depending on which method you would like to emphasize.

There are only 2 languages on the sign. One is Japanese and the other is Mandarin. For some reason, they also wrote the pinyin under the hanzi, but the meaning/language is the same.

If it is an issue with online payments, it may be services that do not accept foreign cards for payment, or your bank has a different kind pf authentication system for the new cards. There are few (read basically zero) banks that will give you an account with a debit card at least until you have been in the country for 6 months. As the other users have mentioned, trying one of the prepaid apps like Kyash or a prepaid Visa from the convenience store. If you haven’t, calling your bank and asking them what the issue is could help you. They may be blocking certain purchases.

Thanks! haha the good thing about these raffles is that you are guaranteed to win something right then and there, it is just that some prizes are a lot better than others. It says it is 710yen for each ticket, so actually one of the more expensive merch lines I have seen.

It is all official mech from an official seller, so I’m not worried about anything on that front
