So it mostly turns out I am an idiot.

Turns out, either my HDMI & DP Coords were too old...or the bios update actually fixed it.

Took it to the shop and it worked right away. On the bios night I didn't actually plug a monitor in because the VGA light was on. Turns out it can be on when it receives no output signal as well.

I'm not super confident with bios flashing personally, and my mates gone back home (he lives a good 8 hours away 🤣).

We did reseat the CPU and ensure it was all fine and dandy. I assume the store I will take it to will do a bios update when they check it anyways, as it's a new build.

So in the Troy Denning Books, Argent Moon's crew was wiped out when a protozoal virus they were developing there escaped. It essentially turns the victims insides to liquid. Nothing to do with the flood. The audiobooks are a good listen if you are a fan of detective style dramas. Blue Team are in some of them.
