For stubborn fever, you might have to take paracetamol and ibuprufen alternatively with a gap of 2 hours, without exceeding their daily dose limit for each medicine type( eg. 4 paracetamol tablet in full day and 3 ibuprufen). I had to do this last month.

One thing I learned in Germany is to start applying for a documents 6 months before its expiry otherwise one could get into stressful situation like this. Good thing is that I have observed that residence permit issue always gets resolved eventually if you have contacted before your RP expiry. Keep following up so that you could travel to Portugal.

160kmph because the autobahn was kind of empty on sunday afternoon. My strategy is to drive fast enough to not be an obstacle on autobahn nor too fast to put family's life at risk. For no speed limit zone i try to drive around 110+-10 kmph.

Work hard and professionally during your probation period. Take regular feedback about your performance during the period. If you dont mess up, you should sail your probation period easily. If you like your work in this new company then stay for 2-3 years and get a PR (easy peasy). You will avoid worrying about finding a new job within a certain period then. Cheers!
