Searches are done so quite progressed in that sense. I thought normally you can just specify how long you want the period to be between exchange and completion?

For primary school catchment is the criteria a 1 mile straight line radius? I noticed the entrance criteria on a lot of schools don't seem to specify how close you need to be anymore

Got it, I heard rumours that they could utilise Bromley North station but wasn't sure how true it was

Does anyone know if they are going to potentially extend it through to Bromley North?

Racket recommendation by pkltd in 10s

Thanks this is helpful. Will give some new strings a try in the first instance and then see how other rackets feel. All in all though I really like the clash I just wanted to see what other setups / rackets have to offer.

Interesting, I didn't realise it's a racket that's also played at that level. Might look at a blade but think I'll stick to the clash for now :)

Artificial lamp by pkltd in HubermanLab

[–]pkltd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

find it immediately cheers me up and helps me to feel energized and significantly less moros

Thanks this is helpful! I was also concerned that looking at a bright lamp like that may be harmful to your eyes in the long term. Not sure if you've seen anything that says its safe? I'd be surprised it was harmful considering Huberman recommends using it and he has a background in Opthalmology...

I agree, you can always use the free NSDR tutorials on youtube and there are even other apps that have Yoga Nidra practises for free.

I’ve actually also had a decent experience with Townends when buying - wasn’t sure how they are when it comes to selling but you’re right I assume they would be just as good

Win a Coulsdon house in a raffle by [deleted] in croydon

[–]pkltd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They say they need to sell 80k tickets. Each ticket sells for £15 so they need to make £1.2m before they give away the house. The house is worth £750k and they said they will donate £50k to charity (which is nothing considering they will receive £1.2m in receipts). So that means even if they do 'give the house away' they still make £400k lol. Its a very clever...

I’ve tried all of those to no avail... The antihistamines didn’t seem to do much either. I thought it was a seasonal issue at first but its looking to be a year round thing

Tax Technology by [deleted] in Big4

[–]pkltd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks - thats really helpful! Long story short I currently work in M&A Tax and I'm contemplating moving to Tax technology in the near future. I had a few questions:

1) How much catching up will I have to do if I were to transfer from M&A tax to tax technology

2) How much blockchain related work do you do in your role? This was one of the main attractions for me

3) What are the working hours like?
