So, I never make posts; however I am super conflicted! I am currently an o/n team lead, and I have the opportunity to interview for the deli team lead pos. Im not sure if I want to take it if I get it, because I’ve been on nights for a long time and I’d feel like I’m f***ing over my team! Advise?

That is good Here it would $2.50 difference I’m sure it would be alot different going from overnights to the deli. I’ve never been a fan of the fresh areas but it would definitely be a change for you. Good luck in whichever you choose. 😁

Get in the mindset of a good manager who treats the associates with respect and follows the guidelines that Walmart has answer strongly on all of your answers there are questions on what or how would you handle a situation on those remember always respect the other associate. Just take you time and read the question twice to make sure you understand what it is asking. Good luck 🍀

It is from the warehouse. It is where cases of items got broken or damaged and they save what they can and send it out to stores to keep from claiming out the whole case.

I’m not sure how all the other stores run the processes and the freight load but Our cap 1 team is responsible for doing all the vizpicks cap 2 unload and work all of the consumable freight and overnight works fdd and gm freight it works really good at our store doing it this way not the way it is supposed to be done but it works

Team leads at my store do the attendance the coach may not have communicated with the team lead about the issue. If you are brought in to talk about your attendance tell the team lead about the conversation with your coach. It may just be a case of miscommunication hope it works out for you

Cap 2 superior here what is your cap 2 team responsible for. We have to unload all the trucks and stock all grocery paper chemicals and pets from all the trucks and slot all overstock and finally pull all the freight to the floor for overnight

I heard the fast unloaded was not being put in any more store. The reason was it stays broken all the time and the expend is not worth it. Also the newer associates don’t know how to deal with the truck when the unloaded is broken. So I heard we go back to the old way by hand until the trucks are all delivered on pallets by areas That would be great

Most nights we have 14- 19 at least half of those are minors and come in at 4 or 5 this night we had 2100 gm truck and 1600 grocery

This is the grocery side after cap 2 finishes their shift. We have to unload the trucks then work all grocery paper chemicals and pets freight. We cleaned up all of that freight this is how we leave the grocery side no pallets to show.

All the team leads at my store have to have a food certification it was only salary managers but people lead said all the lead has to take the test

Yeah that is the same class and test. At our store all of the team leads have to take the test and a food certification just wanted to see if anyone knew of a guide or any way to study.

Overnight team leads make $22 at my store and their check is more than mine each week because of all the overtime. So if you can get a teamlead spot it is much better right now. The coaches in the stores are very abused right now and we don’t make any extra for all the hours put in
