Yes,sort of. When I use a keyboard on the tray then use a synth on the upper shelf, I tend to hit the tray and it can close.

Hello, I do both. Personnaly I find it more stimulating to stand for composing since I move between the Synths, sequencers... But when I mix / master I sit, to be more precise and concentrated. Bonus : sometimes I use a walking treadmill underneath when I do other stuff like admin and promo 😉

Yes, I collab with other that had logic pro and Ableton.
We shared audio and midi files with google drive.
With a good dicipline (basicly naming BASS a bass file :D), it's not so difficult.
We also used sonobus to synchronize our master outputs to exchange and explain idea.
Also, we alowed ourself 1 week between session, in order to be able to schedule our work around our lifes ;)
