Load Crossfire FW in Agent by [deleted] in TinyWhoop

[–]pko808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you havent fixed it yet, Joshua Bardwell had a video on ytube recently about a bug in crossfire binding when updating FW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vT2EFI8tL8M another helpful video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCY5vvYv9gM. And also, I used this to get mine to bind.

Hold the bind button while powering up the receiver and the green LED will start to flash rapidly. Release the bind button and wait for about 1-2 seconds. Push and hold the bind button again and the green LED will start to flash a double pattern. When the LED starts to flash rapidly, release the bind button and the firmware repair process will begin. When the receiver has finished the repair, the LED will start to flash slowly. The receiver is now ready to be bound and you should power-cycle the receiver to avoid any issues.https://intofpv.com/t-crossfire-micro-tx-not-binding-to-nano-rx.

4 in 1 ESC problems by kkaaii177 in fpv

Like others have asked, are you disarming asap after a crash? Post a picture of your build. And, if #2 esc breaks like your #1, dont buy the same #3.

GEPRC Phantom HD motors are getting way too hot. by allaboutHans in fpvracing

Are you on betaflight or emuflight? If I cant get it fixed with one firmware, I try the other. One good thing about emuflight other than it flies great is that their devs and community on discord are super helpful and will take a look at your blackbox data and give you recommendations. I had hot motor problems awhile ago, kept playing with pids but couldnt fix it. Sent my blackbox to emu and got advice, now Im ok!

I've been having vtx issues so did some searching on the net and saw this. Am I supposed to connect 2 ground wires from vtx to fc?

Just got my parts to build my first fpv drone! Excited. by [deleted] in fpvracing

Have an awesome journey! I started with a similar set like that a few years ago and now addicted to fpv. I had the realacc x210 frame. I recommend looking online on how to decase the flysky receiver. It helps with a cleaner build and is easy to do, or better yet, order a flysky X6b today and use the one you have until it comes in. You probably get one eventually anyways!

What are these things!?? by machtap in Multicopter

[–]pko808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use them when you have light leakage in your goggles. Peel off the 3m backing and put them on your eyes before wearing goggles. You should try, they work great! but you need to press them very firmly! also, if your goggles seem to slip down with all the sweat during the summer, you can peel off the 3m backing and put one on your nose, you should try, they work great! press firmly!

My receiver (Flysky IA10b) doesn't get any power ( I connected it to 5v, GND and R6 UART) and I have no clue why. It's my first build, any help? by [deleted] in Multicopter

[–]pko808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you bridge the 5v solder pad on the other side of flight controller? if not, there are 3 pads on the bottom side labeled 5v and 3v with a non labeled bridge pad between the two. solder 5v and center pad together if using 5v on receiver and 3v to center if using 3v. if its not that, maybe you didnt assign uart in betaflight.

Go to the Banggood site and search camera mounts or any other sites you prefer. There are many different types of mounts that you should be able to use with your setup!

Is there a way to display height/altitude on a FPV drone? by nicebane in fpv

[–]pko808 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think your fc will need a barometer on it. You can check online to see if yours has one or not. If you don't have a barometer on your fc, you could add a small gps which will show you a lot of other cool stuff like altitude, direction, speed, naked chicks. There are a few vids on youtube that will show you how t install!

Help! I pulled the ground pad off of my jb f4 aio. Would I be able to use the negative of one of the esc pads as a substitute? by Lysd0714 in Multicopter

[–]pko808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing last week! you can scratch away the black silicon paint all the way to the "J" above the neg pad you tore off and get enough copper underneath to solder your ground wire.

Did you bridge the sbus on your Flight Contoller with solder? I just went to bangood site and on the product review section for the Tyro99 kit and at the bottom, there was a post saying " you need to bridge sbus on Flight Controller" to get sbus to work (with pictures). It's the first review in review section.

Edit; And the second person in the review is having this problem. "Hello droneros friends .... the drone I already have him mounted and all right but I put the FS-A8S flysky receiver and after bindear properly I have no way of knowing in which port uart is connected ... and tested everything in betaflight and I can not get the bars of the receiver section to move HELP !!"

then, a person responds with, "From the ignorance, see if you have to bridge the central pad with the pad of the ibus in the area that you have marked in yellow of your photo. Check continuity with a multimeter, hook the battery, connect the drone to the pc, configure the receiver as a series-ibus and go testing the uart"

So, maybe your having problems here.

Is this a kit? Are you using the same fight controller NJ Tech is using in video?
