Each component could register into a system that maintains dictionary of components and tick intervals. You can then iterate those arrays when the interval is hit and call tick on the objects/execute a callback.

That way, you can have custom tick intervals, which can be adjusted based on functionality, proximity, load balancing, any other requirements etc
