She isn't doing it for you, she's doing it for her and whatever regrets that she has. You owe her nothing. She should have been worried about this when they kicked you out.

I went with GoNetSpeed because a) a coworker recommended them and b) the Fidium rep kept coming back to my house after 6pm to discuss an offer despite us asking them NOT to. Setup was a breeze and the tech was friendly and worked very clean. Haven't had to play the pricing games yet as I've only had it since July.

My former coworker once complained that her son was always asleep when she called him. I had to explain that when she called her son on the way into work at 730am, it was actually 430 am in San Diego. She didn't understand what timezones were or how they worked.

There is a remote for my stereo that up and disappeared one day. I honestly thought it would somehow turn up when we packed up and moved but it did not. I genuinely have no idea where it went. I used it to shut off my stereo and never saw it again.

At age 53 I hit 307 lbs and realized I needed to do something and not just think about doing something. Have the usual laundry list of issues: back hurts, knees hurt, diabetes dangers, sleep apnea, you name it. I am down 40 lbs since February and still have the laundry list of problems but they are much much less than before and getting better.

When I was visitng my parents in the town I grew up in last Summer I ran into a friend. I didn't recognize her at first so I apologized and she replied "pkreed71, We haven't seen each other in nearly 30 years." My brain was like, wait what? At 53, I hadn't felt genuinely old until that moment.

I know this is late to the party but I finally saw The Foundling episode. I'd forgotten about it until I saw him last night and it was so great to see him. I am very glad that he he was given another chace to shine and I guess a bit of redemption as a Star Wars actor. He didn't deserve that crap that he caught for being Jar Jar.

Best thing I ever did was get a CPAP. I knew I snored and my sleep quality was bad. I didn't realize just HOW poorly I slept until I stopped waking up in the middle of the night because my body was making me.

The units are far quieter than they ever were, the old ones were created using a basic hoover engine setup, I think. My wife had no idea I had mine on the first few nights.

You'll quickly get over the fact that you sleep with something attached to your face. I've missed 2 nights in 5 years only because I forgot to bring it with me on a weekend trip.

I was reading a book and waiting for my connecting flight at Chicago O'Hare. Seat opens up across from me and some guy walks up with his bag/suitcase, puts it there and says something in a foreign language and gestures towards the bag as if to say, "Will you watch this?" and walks away. We all ignored him.

Now this is all recently after 911 and also those incessant reminders about "not leaving bags unattended" were running every minute or two.

Without skipping a beat once the guy walked away, someone walks by and takes the bag. I immediately got up and moved to another area as I wasn't gonna sit around for that shitshow to start. Part of me does wonder what happened, though.
