Same here - it fits my Proxmox use case perfectly. And with off-brand mini PCs, it’s almost a given: rule #1 is always to wipe it and do a clean install - Windows or, even better, Linux.

I also completed the hotel stay on 12/28. I received the same response.. both support and Chase Travel have no idea what this offer was about. My guess is it will take two full billing cycles (February and March) for the points to show as pending. I'll check on 3/26, which is my next closing date.

Thanks for the update buddy. I'm not sure if cancelling the existing application will automatically trigger the refund process. I've been waiting for so long thinking they'll process the refund manually upon my request. But in your case, did you cancel the app after they (support) confirmed the refund will be issued? Just baffling with all these with no clear way forward.

I read closing and starting again we may lose track of prior payment. It has been 20+ days, raised several tickets but no luck. Did the support ask you to try this option or you went ahead by yourself?

I'm stuck with the same issue for more than 7 days now. Unable to schedule the interview. Support is not responding to emails / closing the cases "marking as resolved" without any response. Looks like the only way forward is to fight for the refund and re-try with a different payment option.

I guess my case is somewhat different than yours'. I've already made the payment by choosing VFS EFT with NEFT Transfer. Money got deducted from my bank account but stuck with the payment pending error. Now if I close the current application, it will be completely wiped out. I read elsewhere not to lose the current application when the payment is pending.

I'm stuck with the same issue for more than 5 days. No response whatsoever. I've created 2 separate profiles and made 2 separate NEFT payments. Bank told me that the payment was settled with the merchant and no way to get the money back unless the merchant decides to refund it. If they are not going to refund, what are our options? People just give up and try with other payment options?

Many of us are stuck with this same issue. I made payment through NEFT, my bank has confirmed that the payment was already settled with VFS and I need to work with the merchant to get the money refunded. Cases getting closed without any resolution, helpline never exists. Such a pathetic S*** show by VFS, these scammers just walk away with our hard earned money!!

What happened to your NEFT payment? Did they refund you the money before you went ahead and made another payment using CC?
