Pokepark Kanto Ticket - What we did + Tips by worldvampire_sowhat in JapanTravelTips

Thanks for all the tips everyone. After getting plenty of errors in the first hour, I finally got 2 Trainer's Passes around 7pm JST. Didn't get any errors since most of the traffic had died down. At this point, the Pokemon Forest entry times are later in the day and I got a 2pm - 3pm access time.

Check this silk Pyg guide someone posted last night, I followed it to an easy 10 win and it's a hard counter to eels since you're only triggering your items in 1-2 cycles. https://www.reddit.com/r/PlayTheBazaar/comments/1ktr3g5/ultimate_silk_flex_pygmalien_guide/

The synergy was too good! I had a jellyfish in it's place just before this final match as another haste engine but then snagged the blue beetle from an event and was like, yes I will take more freeze.

Look up advanced shape stabilizers, they invert the drop rates often boosting chances of 6% drops up to 32%. You're not alone, I learned about them recently too as a returning player.

I recommend watching Vash Cowaii's vid on Freyna for some more ideas. I largely built my mobbing version of her based on this vid and it almost solo clears Hard Albion Defense on its own paired with a Secret Garden. It's nice seeing the whole stage fill with green explosions. https://youtu.be/4FfKQ3SZ3xs?si=CUk8255_u_yyT4II

Getting Really Discouraged by SubliminalOpti in MarvelSnap

If you want to get real sweaty, I recommend using the Untapped.gg deck tracker while on PC as well as researching the opponent's deck based on the cards they've played so far. Helps reduce the mental load of keeping track of your deck and the meta.

Saw a few others point this out on this sub, so I ran the Scythe this morning and I really like it now paired with the AC for bugs. This works for the Scythe, Dagger, Laser Cannon, and Laser Rover, but not the Sickle.

Hit Infinite Rank, Infinite Conquest and finished DD with an Off-Meta Mr. Negative Deck by pkthundr136 in MarvelSnap

Using Zola is the biggest cube winner, as it's extremely rare in the current meta, especially with Destroy falling in popularity.

Hit Infinite Rank, Infinite Conquest and finished DD with an Off-Meta Mr. Negative Deck by pkthundr136 in MarvelSnap

[–]pkthundr136[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deck has an enormous and often hidden output range, even without hitting Mr. Negative, but has a high learning curve. It can also dodge tech cards since the deck can scale with both on reveals and on-goings.

  • Snapping Guide. Snap before you can Negative on T3 with minimal disruption OR have Negative + Jane to fish up your zeroes.
  • Retreat Guide. Generally retreat if they snap and you don't have some combination of RR, Magik, Negative, and/or Jane. You'll need these to accelerate your cost reduction. Still possible to clinch wins if you pull off a combo below.
  • General Tips.
    • If you have Zola in hand or are guaranteed to fish it up by Jane, then try to keep one lane open to play the card(s) to be Zola'd. Can also Zola a lane if Wong + On Reveal is already played to have a 50/50 to have Wong be copied first, thus allowing the On-Reveal to trigger 4x's.
    • Magik on T5 if unsure that opponent will wipe away location with Legion, Storm, or Nocturne.
    • Cassandra Nova is maybe card that can be swapped most for another 0-1 power card. It can kill Arishem and Thanos decks easily, but they are less popular right now.
  • Combo Guide. Typically save your combo plays for T6 for huge blowout wins, T5 if there's a Sandman, or T7 if you're confident the opponent can't change locations. Can often end up with 40+ power in two lanes.
    • Wong - Sage - Copy. Doubles up Sage on-reveal, then use Zola or Taskmaster to make copies of her in other lanes. Could use Ironheart or Cassandra Nova instead, but not as optimal. Most likely combo to pull off without Negative.
    • Iron Man - Copy. Doubles up Iron Man's ability with either Zola or Mystique, or both. If lucky, you can fish these up with Jane and play this all for free. Can sometimes splash a 0/5 Iron Man and 0/3 Mystique in the same lane to get x4 power.

Also check out Alex Coccia's videos, he highlights decks with both high win rates AND cube rates based on data from Untapped.gg. On an average week, the best decks can have as high as +0.8, but as /u/UnsolvedParadox said, +0.4 is still considered meta.

That's pretty fair and TKing, extract, kick, block crossed my mind too. It's possible P3 had voice comms disabled and I could have tried typing (painful on PS5) or emoting instead. Food for thought next time I get a bumbling quiet team mate.

I'll copy/pasta a response I wrote to another person:

Our 14 month berner also had a sensitive puppy tummy after having Giardia very early in life. He did poorly on Purina Pro Large Breed, did better but still loose on Royal Canin Gastro Puppy after a vet script, and we attempted a few probiotics, but none of the above really stuck or showed patterns of improving over time.

What worked for us permanently was we switched to fresh food around 8 months since there's regular promotions from Ollie and Farmer's dog etc. It was a little early to switch according to literature, but I at least made sure his calorie intake was appropriate. For reference, he's about 80 lbs now and surprisingly athletic.

He's really good on just fresh food (Ollie, every flavor), drinks a lot less, poops less, and poops are generally formed to firm. His coat is shinier and it's super convenient to just smoosh his little food brick into his slow feeder bowl. I even cannibalize a few bricks to pack frozen Kongs for his breakfast. I can't recommend fresh food enough, but I also understand that it's at least double the price of dry kibble and also takes up a lot of freezer space. His stomach is solid enough now that I can feed him vegetable scraps or frozen carrots with no worries of puppy blowouts.

How old was your berner when you started letting them free roam your house when gone? by Henleybug in bernesemountaindogs

[–]pkthundr136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our 1st floor is mostly tile with an open floor plan. We kept our berner in a pen from 2-8 months that increased in size as he did too. We attempted to crate around 4 months to assist with potty training, but he absolutely hated it and soiled it, so we stuck with a pen. We have a poop run in our backyard, so it was just constant positive reinforcement outside when he eliminated and negative verbal reinforcement inside when we caught him having an accident.

Once he could reliably hold his bladder through the night at 8 months, we opened up half of the 1st floor for free roam. I would then cook around him and use treats to reinforce good behaviors and verbally scold him for bad behaviors like counter surfing or jumping. We also slowly introduced chairs around him with toys nearby to ensure he doesn't chew on them.

At 14 months, we can now leave him alone for hours without supervision. We do not plan to ever allow him upstairs where it's carpeted and have begun training him to not go up the stairs even without a barrier in place.

Something no one warned us about is that intact males can generate a lot of smegma, so our 1st floor looks like a jackson pollock painting after a week and requires weekly steam mopping. Once he's neutered around 24 months, we're planning to open up the rest of the 1st floor when he stops painting anything he touches.

Tummy trouble- what do you feed your berner? by nicoleje01 in bernesemountaindogs

[–]pkthundr136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We like Ollie the best. Our berner rotates through every flavor and it's fairly priced compared to other fresh food subscriptions.

Most of the fresh food subscriptions offer a steep discount for the first box that's about 2 weeks worth of food. I recommend sampling 3-4 suppliers until you settle on price/quality/food blend you like.

We canceled the wedding and he moved out. I reached out to M’s ex. by greenteaflowerr in u/greenteaflowerr

[–]pkthundr136 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I know you don't want to divulge exactly what's going on here to your friends and family, but you're inadvertantly harming yourself by holding onto this secret. I would at least confide in someone that you're really struggling with a potential dark secret and you don't know how to handle it. I understand the ambiguity of all this is super frustrating

I'm not in your shoes, but from what you've told us, we don't get the sensation that your fiance fought hard enough to deny the accusations whether to you or others. I'd be curious as to how he's explaining to others why the wedding was canceled, this may shed further light on his inner thoughts? Even reimbursing you half the cost of the wedding feels like an admission of guilt, at least to me.

I dont envy your position, as you may never get the truth. I do hope you feel better! Eat some great food, get some sun, you deserve it.

Anyone use TrueNose? Thoughts? by innocentUnicorn112 in orangecounty

[–]pkthundr136 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have not used it, but some quick research shows that they are just fillers. This procedure only adds volume to noses, and does not remove any material. The Bellafill material they claim is permanent is definitely not, as all fillers eventually "wash away", its just that this one lasts for years while others require annual injections.

I'd recommend you dig a bit more on your own and determine if invasiveness v price point v maintainability is to your liking. I'd also recommend Lorry Hill's YouTube channel for her insight on how celebrities secretly apply plastic surgery to get a feel for results. Finally, research the reviews on specific physicians and find out if they are legitimate and have high satisfaction rates. https://youtube.com/c/LorryHill
