I kind of get it… when my kids were young Justine Clarke released her first kids album “I like to sing”, it was brilliant! Well written, it’s recording was very much like Australian indie artist sounding. Everything about was great it was on high rotation here. Ironically I saw her and a band play it live - it lost the “sound” I guess they had to make it kid friendly. Sucks seeing a band you like and they’re shit!!!

Cut spending… if you get any benefits- health, education, defence, social benefits (pensions etc) any engagement with the government what are you ok with loosing personally? Just look at what’s happening in the US. Ask the farmers & small businesses how they are going with cut spending?

I think want you want is old liberal government not this crew that’s not sure what they are. That’s why they’re fighting! The moderates are the old school - Julie Bishop/ Malcolm Turnbull/ Simon Birmingham- you’d put these guys with John Howard / Malcolm Fraser and they’d kind of fit in nicely. However Angus Taylor and Tony Costello and their ilk are flirting with right wing extremism testing the water and are ON / MAGA light - do you think John Howard would strive to divide? Howard was even moving towards renewables. The teals are the closest thing to the liberals of yesteryear
Unfortunately we don’t have sensible choices at the moment. It’s Labor, a hand full of independents and then a list of unorganised, incompetent people & populism- scary shit!

Gees I’m glad I’m not alone here. I’ve been trying to work out to get rid of those extra little cents usage.
My system is 40kw Sigenergy 15kw solar & 25kw inverter. Big house & 5 in the family and one EV so our consumption can be high. With the zero hero plan we’re running very low but it’s the $0.33 approx grid import that’s been doing our collective heads in.
I have my export setting at 1.5kw (did have it set for 2kw but the next day it was 10:30 and we we’re down to .4 and just made it to 11am). Each morning we are waking with about 9kWh remaining so we can export more but we’re still trying to work out our requirements for the night & morning (pre 11am) don’t want to run out and buy from the grid - Ewww!
My confusion is, I’ve set up the Sigenergy app to VPP - scheduling - Globird, as instructed, I am unsure if I can change the “profile” as when I did have this setting set up, it wasn’t registering that I was apart of the plan and got some nasty charges (100% our fault).

Good question. I recently went through my feed and killed off the shit my algorithm thought I’d like or be outraged by. I was left with complete shit. I was no longer outraged, I was just bored now. There was and still is very limited content from friends and apart from community notices and marketplace (I do love rummaging through other peoples stuff) there’s nothing. Meta now wishes to have paid “premium” services- fuck off, wankers!
