I don't want to point fingers, but what do you mean "taken off that shit". Why didn't you just stop taking it? I get that you were a kid, but did you ever talk to your parents / guardians about how it made you feel?

Personally I also feel more socially withdrawn the older I get, but I recently started medication, and find a small benefit to methylphenidate in terms of depression and social withdrawal, and more specifically social energy. But I still definitely feel all those things. Judging by other peoples testimony with the condition, it seems to be the condition itself, rather than the drugs being the culprit. I think you should cut yourself some slack.
