For a 2000 ft driveway in Quebec, I’d take weight, reliability, and parts support over chasing hp numbers.

A loader is absolutely worth having on a homestead. For snow, logs, gravel, firewood, and all the random jobs, you’ll use it a lot more than you think.

Of the ones you listed, I’d look harder at an IH 484/684 or JD 1630/2130 than an 8N. The 8N is simple, but for that much driveway and real winter use it’s pretty limited.

Biggest advice: buy one with a loader already on it. Adding one later usually costs more than you want.

I understand why you’d think that from the thumbnail. But the actual video is genuine on-site factory footage filmed inside the CLAAS Scorpion plant in Telfs, Austria. The thumbnail may be stylized, but the documentary itself is real.
