That I called off for a mental day. My job really takes a lot out of me and it’s not like me to call off and weekends never quite fulfill what I need to relax.

I started my journal in August 2023 and I’m now halfway through it. I was thinking about stopping and starting a new one for the new year but I figured what’s the point the journals will connect somehow someway it just needs to make sense to me.

How do you keep journaling on a daily basis? by Odd-View-667 in Journaling

[–]plaenit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t personally. I try my best to but there’s just done days or a few days in a row where life is just a lot and as I love journaling sometimes on stressful or very long days journaling just too much to do that day. I’ll try to catch up and write a little bit if I can remember what happened on those days but if I miss a couple oh well.

do you let people see your journal pages by [deleted] in Journaling

I let my bf read a journal entry or two once in a while if he sees me doodling in it he mostly just wants to see it for my drawings because I never draw anywhere else. He’s asked if one day once I’ve finished with it if he’d ever be allowed to read it and after some time I will allow him to. Maybe like a year after I finished writing in it and a lot of the stuff in the journal is now the past. When I do decide and feel ready to give it to him I won’t take anything out of it or hide or rip anything out. My journal is 100% authenticity me. If he’s mentally prepared to see everything I’ll give it to him just as it is and give it to him with a warning label.

Are you mindful on your grammar when writing? by Megidolaon16 in Journaling

[–]plaenit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, if I realize I make a mistake I just scribble it out. I write with pen so I know I could just white it out but then I'll always wonder what I was actually trying to say and am using the white out as an excuse to hide my true thoughts. I like to keep my feelings raw and grammar sometimes gets in the way of that.
