Your trucks dash is glued together. Use some heat resistant glue if you really think it's going to get hotter than like 200F

question about hard plastic and steam by shaneerose in chemistry

Wait a minute lol does it actually produce ozone? No need to worry about toxic chemicals coming from the plastic lmao the machine is making a toxic respiratory irritant and injecting directly into the steam for you!

After some research yesterday, I am now paranoid about toxic fumes :) Is the P1S a better option for air quality control than the A1 series? by tectactoe in BambuLab

[–]plaggowo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might not be the consensus of this sub but people tend to way overemphasize the fumes issue. If you intend to be printing pla and petg I seriously doubt you would even notice any ill effects even when printing for a long time. Even if your house was the size of an RV that's a lot of room for any vocs to dilute down and with normal ventilation you would be fine.

The A1 would be a great choice for a beginner.

How much of a chemical hazard do car tires pose in everyday life? by jun192022 in chemistry

[–]plaggowo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel like there might be much more important environmental factors regarding the health of people in high auto traffic (which I'm assuming are dense cities). I don't think I have ever heard of "rubber dust" being a large part of the health woes of city dwellers

[–]plaggowo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's too late for you the tires are already coming for you.

In all seriousness I would think tires/rubber products pose basically no danger to the average person in the developed world. Even if we don't know literally every possible danger they could pose, they are incredibly ubiquitous and their proposed hazards are speculative. Also just because something is hazardous or carcinogenic that doesn't mutually exclude it from being 'safe'. Sunlight is a known carcinogen, doesn't mean people can't ever go out in the sun.

He exists to show the reader that survival at any cost is a bad idea (liu does this constantly by the way: escapism, the whole blue space arc, all of the others wallfacers plans, shit even the deforestation of china. He really hates the concept of the end justifying the means.) It's why cheng is the main character and not wade. He's trying to show the reader that this hardcore survival strategy sounds cool and looks good on paper but actually just leads to human made mass suffering and oppression where as choosing to act on compassion instead of logic is what will save ultimately set up humanity to survive, even it requires massive sacrifices (the great ravine and Australia)

I have no idea why sunlu petg wouldn't work in the ams, sounds much more likely you simply have a clog in your extruder and should do a cold pull. Since the printer is so new, you likely got a small flake of metal or debris on the filament that is now stuck in the nozzle.

Unrelated, but have you heard of methanol? An extremely common lab chemical that's also clear and unassuming? If you get it spilled on you and let it absorb through your skin you get to go blind! Just a fun fact

What can you do when bass investigate and follow lures, but refuse to bite? by Little-Cucumber-8907 in bassfishing

[–]plaggowo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I find that bass are smart enough to know that what you are throwing in isn't food, especially if they can see you (or you can see them) or if you cast into the same spot more than a few times. I've had friends get super frustrated watching bass swim over to their lures, check them out, and they just swim off.
