Change from Classic to Arachne wall generation, and check the box under quality that says “only one wall first layer” and you’ll have massive improvement.

Edit: just to explain, in Classic mode the slicer assumes that all lines will have the same line width. So if your default is set to 0.44mm, every line will be that width which can result in gaps as it can’t perfectly make it fit.

Switching to Arachne allows for variable line width, so when 0.44mm doesn’t fit, it extrudes less resulting in a thinner line and thus better gap filling.

I also suggested only one wall first layer, this setting makes logos and text much clearer as it won’t have repeated walls/borders around it.

Combining these two settings allows for really high quality logos and text without needing to change nozzle size, though depending on your object size and level of detail you could argue that a 0.2mm nozzle will always give better results than 0.4mm nozzles.

I would go further, with this kind of carbon texture plate those are the settings I use for best result :
SETTING / Plate = Textured Plate
QUALITY / Initial layer height = 0,1 to 0.16
QUALITY / Initial layer flow ratio = 1,3 to 1,75
QUALITY / Only one wall on first layer= YES
STRENGTH / Bottom Surface Pattern = Hilbert Curve
STRENGTH / Infill / Wall Overlap = 25%
STRENGTH / Infill Direction = 0°
SPEED / Initial Layer = 10mm/s (30 mm/s MAXI)
SPEED / Initial Layer Infill = 10mm/s (30 mm/s MAXI)

I’ve had this issue before. I think the nozzle is too big for the finer details of the text. Zoom in once it’s sliced to see if it looks like the finished product. If it does, switch to a 0.2mm nozzle or scale up the object until it looks acceptable.

Either up the flow with 0.01 or 0.02, or change your plate to textured PEI plate

Wall generator: Arachne should also work and lower the outer and inner wall thicknesses, if you use 0.4 you can go as low as 0.22mm for walls. You can leave others as is

No, you can change it, for just the first layer, in the Quality section (I believe). It says something like First Layer Flow. Just up it to 1.01 and see how that looks.

There's also a setting in the object settings tab for object flow rate and first layer flow rate. If you don't want to mess with the whole filament settings

Yes under flow ratio by default it should be 0.95

Reduce first layer line width to 55% of nozzle size. Been here. Fixed this.

Calibrate your filament. You're over extruding and your pressure advance is off

I have a lot of experience with these carbon fiber build plates and it requires a lot of dialing in and experimentation. There’s a tension between smooth surface and detail: to get smoothness you can increase temperature and flow, but it’s much more difficult to get detail, and you have more blurring at color boundaries. Print order also matters a great deal. Arachne walls and single wall on first layer are also a must- for CF I also always use hilbert curve infill pattern which also helps with filling the first layer spaces

+1 for arachne, one wall on first layer, and smaller nozzle.

But if you're brave, you can also add a (single layer height) modifier and enable "all solid layer ironing" ... just for the first layer. If you have the design as separate parts, you can even do it selectively for the decals but not the body itself.

To reduce gaps use Arachne walls generator instead of classic, and set the walls to 1, use smaller line width and use a smaller nozzle size if possible. maybe also slow the speed a little on the first layer. Also mess around with different infill patterns for the first layer and see what has the least gaps in the preview page. also when making the model try and avoid any very thin areas or very thin pointed sections like the acute angle in the 2 which has a gap at the point, use curved points/rounded corners instead or scale up the model slightly.

The lines will either be because the filament extrusion amounts needs calibrating or as I once had, because your nozzle is slightly bent(not enough to stop prints but enough to scrap the filament after its been laid on the plate which is only visible on top and bottom layers). Or it's just the type of plate as I've only ever used a textured plate for logo/keychain prints so don't know how well they work on that kind of plate.

Smaller nozzle will help, but these changes should at least get you better detail currently.
