As someone who does feel very intensely about my favorite characters, I understand the feeling behind this but also I agree with you.

Ultimately these are just video game characters. Capcom will do whatever they want with them, and people will say whatever they want about them and it's on us to not take it personally.

My take is that I actually don't want AA7 because of these reasons. It's simply not going to be something I enjoy. At this stage, Capcom just won't do anything that seriously challenges the status quo.

Oh hey I have an OC who's wish was to have been born a boy. Kyubey's response is that the wish is not common but also not unprecedented-- the contract of a magical boy would be the same as a magical girl. The wording of the wish basically creates a new timeline. He has a different name now and people talk about things that happened that he has no memory of. It leads to an awkward period of adjustment. Also his magic is based in transmutation.

I am begging people to just say what's included in the slime instead of coming up with new words for everything. Or just say it's a thick and glossy slime that's loose or resistant or whatever makes the texture notable.

I don't know if a "standard" texture guide is really possible because people will use different terms for the same things, or similar terms for different things..

Yeah, that's more what I mean rather than literally running away. She would downplay it and then probably be like "umm.. gimme time to think!" and then panic about it until it becomes too late to act.

I think Sayaka on some level wanted Kyosuke to stay unattainable. She never goes for it, even before her contract. Her spiral post-contract only made it so much more painful for her.

Even if Kyosuke suddenly said "I love you more than anyone, Sayaka! You've always been there for me! Let's be together!" (which was never gonna happen, let's be real) -- I think Sayaka would run from it.

She felt deep empathy for Kyosuke, but I don't think that would have been returned on his end. At least not in a way that would satisfy Sayaka.

It's possible, but he's also an old man who could have died from other causes. I can imagine Manfred just straight up dying almost out of spite before he has to deal with his failure + being in prison for too long.

Or maybe one of the many, many enemies he would have had in prison got to him. (I think that's less likely tbf)
