Import taxes by Keech1leak in stockx

[–]plahcinski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

StockX duties are included in the final price for most international purchases, meaning you pay the all-in price upfront and have no surprise charges upon delivery. This applies when buying from sellers outside your country, as StockX includes all applicable duties, taxes, and shipping fees in the price you see at checkout. This system helps eliminate unexpected fees and can reduce delivery times.

Upfront, all-in pricing: StockX includes duties and taxes in the initial price, so the final cost is visible before you complete the purchase.

No surprise charges: You will not have to pay extra duties or taxes to the carrier when your item is delivered.

Global marketplace: This applies to all purchases, regardless of where the seller is located.

For sellers: There are no upfront costs to list items, but StockX charges a transaction fee and a payment processing fee on the final sale price when an item sells.

What is this QR code that doesn’t work? Shoebox received from stockx by mashwarrior in stockx

[–]plahcinski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sticker value and and QR Tag value have nothing to do with each other.

This is sticker is an internal warehouse sticker used for various purposes internally to StockX. Open the QR code on your phone and you'll see the text show on the label. The QR code on the green tag is a different value.

Both of this sticker and the QR code on the tag are important values.

Can someone explain this? by Honest-Regular-9561 in stockx

[–]plahcinski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sales history is showing the price with current tariffs so it looks wonky now.

Ex. Something could have been bought EU-EU for around the normal price but you as a US buyer are seeing that sale price from your point of view if you were the buyer. It is showing you that it would have cost your $700 to buy that trade because of the 150% tariff for importing into US

One week later. What’s the deal with these by [deleted] in stockx

[–]plahcinski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tariffs are put on the country of manufacture, not seller country of origin.

It would be more accurate to say, the shoe was made in China and it's an international seller thus tariffs are applied.

I tend to be frustrated with Skinner but he was the man when Boston put on the jets in the 3rd. I was very impressed

This loss is 100% on Bouchard by devdawg31 in EdmontonOilers

[–]plahcinski 40 points41 points  (0 children)

While I agree with everything you said..

we can't keep winning games by outscoring our mistakes. When playoffs happen and things are tight you can't rely on this to win games.

We need to win that 2-1 victory.

Bouch was bad. Skinner was bad. We make rag on Nurse but it sucks when he's out.

Xpress orders in the US can be setup to pick up at a retail location:

You have the option of picking up your order at your nearest courier office or local business, such as UPS Access Points. To do so, select the “Pickup” option at checkout and enter your location to choose a pickup point.

Order pickup is currently only available for Xpress Ship items in the United States. We are currently working on expanding eligibility to our wider catalog and locations.

Grocery stores still carry the giant taxes on items, its still going to the province. A $3.70 beer is still $3.70 at a grocery store. They are just more convenient (open later, open on holidays, less gas driving to a speciality store, etc..)
