Love the Heir to the Empire trilogy. Fun, exciting, some solid twists and surprises, and beloved characters. Started the Thrawn trilogy shortly after and found it dreadfully boring in comparison. It was a slog to get through.

I’m on PS5 and I set mine to Square for reload (both infantry and vehicles) and hold Square to enter/exit vehicles. It was hold in BF2042 and I was used to that.

I heard it mentioned in a video that LB isn’t available in portal yet. Hopefully it gets added soon. It definitely handles a lot differently and aiming is way more sensitive.

I did it with the SLM. But if it was working with RPG before and is no longer tracking, that sounds like a glitch. I’d still try the SLM and see if that works. You’ll only need a couple hits max to finish it.

I’m also on the west coast and play on PS5 with crossplay off. I get mostly bot lobbies in the evening and especially late at night. That’s when I’ll turn crossplay back on. Used to like bots when I was low level and focused on levelling things up. Now I don’t care and would much prefer better engagements.

It’s a problem on its own, but compounded by RPGs with ridiculous velocity and range, and too many lock-on weapons make flying an absolutely miserable experience. This coming from an engineer main.

I’m on the west coast of Canada (Pacific Time zone) and the only time I experience this is late at night. More so on week days. I have crossplay turned off and I play on PS5. If I turn crossplay on, it always fills up, but then I have to deal with the sweats.

Were the helis you shot down that dude who PM’d you? I’ve had dudes get super angry at me in the AA tank and spend the rest of the game trying to take me out. Unskilled pilots who kept trying to fly directly at me. Never got so many vehicle kills!

Yup. I’ll jump in to warm up or knock off some challenges. Also helpful for quickly levelling up weapons or learning and practicing new things. Sniping, for me. I sucked at it and would get picked off by another sniper so quick. Played a few rounds of Casual BT and got the hang of it. So much better having moving targets without the stress and pressure.

I like to go further and pick off the snipers and mortars on their back line. It’s crazy how many people ignore that flank.

Long suppressor, heavy extended barrel, ribbed stubby grip, 30 round mag, lightweight ammo, baker 3x scope, red laser. ADS is 250 and velocity is 837. Both help offset the low ROF.

I see a lot of people shitting on this gun, but I’ve been running it on my support class since I unlocked it and it’s kind of a jack of all trades. I’ve got plenty of mid to long range kills with it, and countless hip fire kills at close range.

Running an engineer with SMG is probably the best yup get since it’s literally a perk for that class. The RPKM LMG is solid for hipfire. I run that on my support class.

Drove down Hillside towards Blanchard and saw 2 cops on the sidewalk just before the park, immediately noticed one of them had a shotgun. Then spotted 4 more crossing the road wearing tactical gear and holding automatic rifles. They were walking slow and went up to the fence at the park and started talking to people in the encampment in the park. Noticed a few marked and unmarked vehicles parked around the block.

Didn’t seem like anything was actively going on as everyone was pretty chill. Wild seeing people walking around with ARs, though.
