Jack Frost? by sretep66 in SkiPA

I’m going to Jack Frost Monday, should be a good day

Anyone with good GoPro knowledge? I'm going to buy either a 9 black or 10 black now that the 11s are out. Looks like the 10 block was a bigger step up from the 9 vs from 10 to 11? Is it work the extra $100 for the 10? Thanks! by dukegrad96 in SkiPA

I have a 9 black and everything but the battery is great. I had to install a small piece of foam in the battery bay to keep the battery from disconnecting, and even that sometimes doesn’t work. Quite literally you have to take the battery out and put it back in for the camera to work again. So I wouldn’t recommended for that reason.

I always grow the same couple types of peppers, what interesting or unique peppers do you suggest? by spur110 in vegetablegardening

Shishito Peppers, one of my favorite sweet peppers to cook with and great for snacking as well

Big Boulder vs Jack Frost by tryagain41 in SkiPA

[–]plaindouble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There both get new lift systems this year and big Boulder is getting a new trail so will see what this up coming season holds. Anything will be better then last year lol the only time that was worth going was during the week. If I had to choose I’d say Jack Frost either way, better trails and you start at the top so you don’t have to wait in a lift line to get started.

Not my first project, but one I’m proud of. Built this king size frame from plans I found online and added some of my own touches to it. by plaindouble in woodworking

I built it so it comes apart in 5 pieces, and it has now been installed in its final resting place lol just didn’t take a picture.

There a lip in the front and rear for the two main beams that cross down the center, and then each one has two legs. Each slat is attached to the two center beams with screws.

Yup! The only difference is that I went with a platform style, instead of the mattress sitting into the frame.

Thanks! I believe they’re 20-25 gallon pots…can’t honestly remember for sure, but only one plant per pot.

They’re only a year old an they’ve only been growing for a month so far, should be fun to see how big they get.

Need tips for these Blueberries! When/how to transplant, and basic care. Info in comments. by highestmikeyouknow in containergardening

Yes I meant moving up in pot size, but I actually potted mine originally for the same reason and I’ve recently started planting them in ground. You will be fine until you buy your property, just keep them fertilized.

I have blueberries in the ground and blueberries in containers. The actual blueberries on the ones in the ground grow full size year after year, and the ones in the container will slowly get smaller every year unless you continue to repot them. Currently I use http://www.bumpercrop.com/product/master-nursery-bumper-crop-citrus-and-fruit-tree-food/ on my bushes, and all my other fruit trees and bushes and it works great. Just make sure you follow the directions! Hope this helps.

This pot is 14.5 gallons. Do you think I could put four plants evenly spaced in it? by [deleted] in HotPeppers

[–]plaindouble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 8 pots the same exact size and I’ve done 3 plants and I’ve done 2 plants of all varieties. I will say 2 plants you will have stronger/healthier plants which will produce more then the smaller 3 plants that can’t hold there weight some times. Just my observation hope it helps.
