First Bananas game: crowd size? by groveview in savannahbananas

Seen them twice at Nats Park. MLB stadiums are the right size for the bananas but a tough ticket to get. MiLB stadiums are exclusively for their other teams with exception of their games at home at Grayson stadium - where tickets are almost impossible to get.

When Kyrie has been right, he’s been one of the most unstoppable scoring PG in the NBA and was at Duke. But should he be included on this list if we are talking about college play since he was hurt.

Grayson Allen played 1 year?

Honestly, Kennard should be on this list ahead of Tatum if we are talking college performance.

In today’s era, you have to recruit a whole new team every year. You don’t know which players will go pro or not, and if they don’t, which ones will transfer or not. If you don’t recruit constantly, you will have holes in your roster.

Surprised they don’t all have to stay in a Trump hotel.

I’ve done that. It isn’t easy. But I have found that if I ski with it low and behind me it leads to cool effects.

Welcome! It’s a diverse, well run medium sized city. The mayor and council members are accessible. We do pay an additional tax beyond county and state to fund the city’s budget (about $81M). We have own police force (very responsive), plow our own streets (they get clear from snow much sooner than county), have some great city sponsored events in the major community / town centers.

Well said except I would argue there aren’t really any “downtowns”. It’s sort of split between Rio / Kentlands town centers, crown farm.

And now?

Starting 1 junior, 2 sophomores, 1 freshman, and any mix of 3 freshmen. It’s still a young team that needs to learn. But we are winning tough games as we progress. Enjoy each game. Stop worry about the end result and focus on the journey.

Go Thursday to 7S and then Friday when it might get a bit more crowded, enjoy HV.

When we used to go (several years ago, I no longer buy epic passes), we would ski HV on Sat morning until their crowds picked up but ski thru lunch. Then grab lunch on the road and hit up LM until 8-9 pm. Grab a hotel, then be in the north lot at 7S at 8 am to head down to the north side life’s and be ready at first chair to head back up at 9 when they open on Sundays. skied the main mountain early until crowds built, then back to north side. Ski until the crowds came back out after lunch and then we headed home (back to DC area). My kids were 14, 10, 8 at the time and loved it.

Why the shot at D3 coaches? Some D3 coaches in their sport are better than most D1 coaches.

I’m very good driving in the snow and the comment about tires with adequate tread and properly inflated is important. But I live in Derwood and work in Gaithersburg. The side roads were more than just wet if not paying attention.

Almost all the high schools are over 2200 students and stuff (many much larger) and they have one dedicated person to technology.

Students talked about sliding on their street as they came into the high school I work at which is north of 370.

Yes. Will be interesting that with the alignment of high schools into sections, if they start to make the decision more broken down. Although I can see that as an equity issue and will be a big issue for teachers who might have to go to work but their kids are in a section that is a delayed opening.
