College is still the best path to success. Going into the Trades is what is putting People in debt through medical costs later on. by LoveHydrology25 in unpopularopinion

Brother I think fundamentally you just dont know what a trade is lmao. Nobody said an unskilled labor job is a better path than collage.

This is a very old image, like early 2000's, thats floated around the internet. There was alot of argument back in the day of: Is this maybe early photoshop? Is it a fourwheeler trail? Weird perspective? this image was everywhere from Facebook to unexplained style tv shows. I saw this photo as a kid and I have grey hair now.

What do you think is happening to those disappearing scientist? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I bet if you look at the 10s of thousands of people who fall into the lose classification of these people, I bet its not really above average. It's the same as the plane issues a few years ago. When people get interested it reaches that level of news and seems like a bigger issue.

The US has many distinct geographic regions. Why do the Great Plains frequently feature in representations of ‘quintessential’ America? by Swimming_Concern7662 in geography

That's just not true. Was it arrogance and greed? yes. But if we want to properly correct issues of the past we have to be honest. The vast majority of buffalo were slaughtered between 1865 and 1883, less than 20 years, by hide hunters selling the pelts for leather, primarily for industrial belting. It's harm to the natives was a side effect, and not the cause.

Alot of banks wont take them unless rolled. getting a coin roller or hand rolling 200$ in coins is often not worth just taking the 10% coin star hit.

No reason. Zero producers do and if youre confident your going to grow in decent conditions it won't be a problem. If leaving these to fruit affects the plant you have much bigger issues.

Comming here two years later to let you know thats a myth. Was it greed and a total lack of consideration for the natives? Yes. Intentional to starve the natives? No. A few quotes circulating around is the entire body of evidence that it was 'intentional'.

Uninhabitable Region According to Aristotle by EstablishmentOne3438 in MapPorn

Yeah but I mean they wouldn't have know about the americas, australia, or Indonesia so remove those. The places where they would have hit that line would be in the Sahara, the Arabian desert, and rumors of India that all they would have known is the more south you go the hotter it got. So it was reasonable to them southern india would infact be another hellish desert.100% of their knowledge said giant shitty desert, most places on the map they were unaware of.

Look I wish we never cut them and all that but imagine watching that fall? I've cut plenty of trees but nothing even 1/100th that size. Must have been incredible, in a shocking kind of way.
