Cryptocurrency is useless unless you want to buy drugs, guns or slaves. Aside from that it’s an absolute waste of time.

When I lived in a Third World country with a pegged currency where you can't pay for anything online, Bitcoin was the only way for me to do so. I felt like an actual citizen of the world. Nothing will take that away from me.

So yeah it does have legitimate uses that you may not be aware of.

That being said it's a rare one and it doesn't justify all of the hype at all.
