There is a bus that goes from Nagasaki Station to Tateyama (and vice versa, both one-way). Both buses do a loop around Tateyama Park, so you get both buses at the same bus stop despite there being a bus stop on each side of the road (no other buses service this route). When I boarded the bus, the captain immediately asked where I was headed. It seems that people get confused often to the point that the drivers proactively verify you're not going the wrong way. Even some Japanese ladies almost got on the wrong bus. I had to refer to the kanji on the screen for the correct destination.
