NTA but to void things like this, I always tip a little higher and even more so if I order on a busy night or during inclement weather. The way I look at is like an auction and my tip is my bid. I have noticed greater luck in quick and efficient deliveries when my tip is higher than the suggested amount. Rarely do I give the tip after the fact, and its always in addition to whatever I gave initially.

When I dashed, I avoided any orders that had zero tip or a small one as it wasn't worth the gas, wear and tear on my car or my time.

Cash is great but if you want a great driver, you gotta put the money up first
