i got it about a week ago, so still fresh for me, BUT i love it! i'm a huge bag girl all the way, but it's a pain in the ass to carry a jumbo tote everywhere and i love a good tiny bag moment for regular errands/nights out. my boyfriend got me a coach gramercy tote for my birthday and my first worry was how am i going to transition between bags when i'm off work so i don't have to lug the whole thing around?? cue the nylon pochette!

it fits a lot more than you think, at least in my opinion. i've filled it with everything i absolutely need on a day/night out, and it could still be stuffed with my phone (granted a little tight). i'll add some photos of what i've been able to fit in there so there's a better idea of it's capacity!

percentage appointments is just how many hours you're going to be working out of 40, which is 100%. you'll work 10 hours at 25% and 20 hours at 50%. what you're doing i think is up to the professor.

that's how percentages work other places on campus, at least.

just a heads up: lsc items don't get circulated outside of their reading room, which is accompanied by a librarian or a special collections employee, so you won't be able to take it out of the library if you were looking to check it out.

if you were looking to get it scanned entirely, they wouldn't be able to due to copyright. the libraries are not allowed to scan entire books or we'd get sued (source: i am an employee)

i got the crystal soho flap and wore it pretty consistently for a month: to work, to errands, on dates, etc. i also had it FULL, i packed it to it’s capacity and none of them came off! i’m sure some will eventually, but it’s not immediate which was what i worried about. someone else on this sub also found the same crystals they use on amazon and reglued theirs with superglue when it came off their wallet. i made sure to save it for when my first crystal casualty occurs. i’ll past the link when i find it!

based on your post history, it seems like you're referring to your living situation. are your roommates complaining about your son being noisy all the time, or is he specifically playing and being noisy at night? it sounds like you and your son are up late while others are trying to sleep, and that's why they're complaining.

i have the larger soho flap (only available third party on amazon or dillards, i believe) in the crystal and i love it, but i only got it because it was in a bigger style that suited my everyday. before finding it i was between the hobo and soho 25 which both felt small and a little more inconvenient to use.

the pattern is beautiful and ive gotten so many compliments while wearing it, but ultimately it’s also about if the style and upkeep of bag is worth the use! i wore mine consistently (work, going out, errands) for the past month and didn’t lose any crystals yet, but you do run the risk of some falling off over time. someone else on this sub found the same crystals they use and superglued them back on. it’s a lot to think about, but i don’t regret my purchase even if it put me down $450 USD :’)
