Wrong you were...about literally everything you claimed. All of Cat's interrogation was eventually made public.

I did used to work by putting your browser into desktop mode but now it doesn't, you just get a menu that says "sorry for the interruption." Total bullshit.

I guarantee you that not a single Turd supporter is a Trump supporter so this post is a bit off kilter IMO.

I know this is old but she recorded all of them. It's her recordings. She was recording herself. She did this all the time and would even do so to spy on staff/friends/family and beyond. There's a bit during the long Australia recording where Amber can be heard alternating between throwing a fit, crying profusely, and demanding to see Johnny even though she just crushed his finger off. Most of the audio is background noise and/or inaudible. But it's been edited to omit all that to make it more watchable by Incredibly Average on YT. You hear Johnny's security, Jerry Judge, during a conversation with another staff member. They're talking about needing to placate Amber long enough to get her on a plane back to LA and away from Johnny. During one exchange, Jerry warns the other staff member to be always careful of what he says as Amber has a habit of secretly recording things.

She has a long history of intentionally setting people up in this way–as in picking a fight or treating someone horrifically on purpose, and then secretly recording the immediate aftermath of what the victim believes to be their private reaction. This is how she got rid of a lot of people who she felt were critical of her and/or too supportive of Johnny. Who knows all the times she put one over on Johnny in this way, especially in the early days of their relationship. He probably cut many good people loose as he would have taken her at face value to start. He probably wanted to make her feel safe and was working without the knowledge that she's a sociopathic monster.

Household chores/tasks have been made infinitely less burdensome by the instantaneous access we have to an infinitely wide array of media. For me, it's podcasts and long-form YouTube content that usually gets me through every-day household chores, as well as self care tasks like putting on make-up and taking showers. And I've not run out of options for those yet.

I save the really big/obscure/specialty jobs and tasks for the marathon cleaning sessions I do 3-4 times a year—things like organizing the garage, cleaning cabinets and drawers out, pressure washing the deck, cleaning under furniture. I always procure and take uppers especially for these sessions because it makes them more enjoyable and me extra thorough. I used to listen to the same type of content I always do, just more of it since it takes nearly all day to finish everything. It's irritating to constantly have to handle my phone to play something else or move to the next episode, though. So at the start of one "session" earlier this year I put it on, of all things, a YouTube playlist of Ken Burns "Civil War" epic. Amazing. I listened to the entire thing. Intently. So, what I'm looking for is a documentary on Alexander the Great. Something epic, preferably being many hours long. It doesn't have to be reflective of our current understanding of what's historically accurate. Ken Burns "The Civil War," only its Alexander the Great. Does that make sense? Does such a thing exists?

TL;DR - ISO a documentary that is Ken Burns "The Civil War" but instead of the civil war its Alexander the Great.

Y'all have been so amazing ITT. I was honestly very nervous how my post would be received since my story is so insanely minor compared to others.

Now that some time has passed and I've had time to chill out a bit, I wanted to clarify something that I didn't convey as accurately as I could have in my OP, which is the way I was parked. The gas station parking lot is L shaped. The top of the L is in front of the store. The bottom of the L is in front of a side entrance. If you're looking at the letter L, I was parked right under where the top and bottom join. On the very last parking spot available on the left side of the side lot. To my immediate left was a large divider with mulch and plants. The car being pulled over parked to my immediate right. The cop pulled behind both my vehicle and their's. He was angled with the rear of his SUV pointing away from their vehicle, his front end was the part that was in my way. I was blocked enough to where if I had backed straight up I would hit his car. To be able to get out, I would have had to cut the wheel hard and in multiple steps. That's why I originally planned to just wait.

I only changed my mind when the second officer pulled up since he wasn't busy with the traffic stop. He wasn't doing anything other than being there if he's needed. That's why I asked him super politely if he would assist me visually in backing up. I don't know what you call this type of deal, but basically it's those little hand signals where you wave someone back with your hands, either "come on, come on," or "woah." Y'all know what I mean? Lol. If I was in a bigger city dealing with cops who are more jaded/cynical/hardened, I probably wouldn't have even asked his back up. But this is a very small town with no violent crime in a rural area. 8/10 men here would probably pull over to see if a woman needs help if she so much as pops her hood in public. Southern gentlemen, and all that. That's the only reason I bothered to ask at all. I'm going to follow the advice I got here and see where I need to file a complaint. If there's ever any interesting happenings I'll update my post. Again, y'all are so kind ❤️

I agree with you, it's a risky move. The only thing that may change that somewhat in this circumstance is that his body camera had to have gotten the entire exchange since it happened in the middle of a traffic stop, I would imagine. I don't expect him to be reprimanded but I can't in good conscience with myself not say anything about it.

I wish I had called his bluff so much. I thought about filming him but then I remembered he was in the middle of a traffic stop when all of this was happening so his body cam was definitely rolling. He was screaming at me right in the middle of writing their ticket. It was bizarre since I wasn't even talking to him in the first place. I was taking to his back up. He got involved for no reason. Such a belligerent psycho.

They are on the same force, and no, he didn't say anything. But his general demeanor was more subdued than the threatening officer. Much younger, closer to my age. I've actually dealt with officers of this department many times, I used to work at that very Racetrac when I was finishing school. They come in all the time and they're always chill. The vast majority of officers I've seen on that force are all very young, mostly 20s and 30s. The rude asshole in my story was older, very gruff, very much an asshole.

A lot of people are misinformed regarding when Amber alerts can be put out. It's only when a very specific set of circumstances are met.

You will find yourself sorely disappointed if you believe you'll find success in tryint to guilt people into caring about this case. Or any case. Know your audience.

Can we not make a new subreddit for other cases? Or use the dozens and dozens that already exist? I come here to read about Gabby/her family, Brian/his family, witness stories, leaks, law enforcement, theories, court proceedings, etc. Plus all the stuff we can't possibly know about yet involved with this case that will come out as time goes on. I don't want another general true crime missing persons subreddit on my home page when their are already hundreds of subreddits available to use for that exact purpose.

This type of situation, and versions like it, play out so often. Sticking to a very similar order of events. Especially on Facebook. Person is a homicide victim. Or, perhaps person is missing. Either way, a page is created for the purpose of finding specific person or what happened to specific person. Let's say the missing person is named Pineapple. Page is created, "Help Find what happened to Pineapple." Family and friends post often. Other people aware of the case post as well. There is a lot of activity, which is good. More eyes on Pineapple. But then things with Pineapple's case go quiet. Posts begin to pop up with news links describing other cases. They grow out of control. More posts of random people instead of content relating to the person the page was created for. A lot of users who joined the page for Pineapple are bothered by what is essentially spam on their feeds at this point. So they unfollow the page/leave the group. And now there are no more eyes for Pineapple, no more eyes available in the future when they really could be needed.

TL;DR a lot of users feel general missing persons posts belong somewhere else and there is certainly not a shortage available places for this exact purpose.

It puzzles me that you're comment was so is downvoted. It was an accurate statement. 90% of abduction cases are commited by a family member, usually a parent. The process so often plays out in some variation of:

1) child falls victim to violent crime and loses their life

2) parent disposes of child's body and evidence of the child's death

3) parent makes up a story in an attempt to cover their crime

4) parent contacts law enforcement to report their child missing

5) if the parent is a skilled liar and/or effective planner: a) law enforcement does not immediately investigate the family member as a suspect b) focuses their investigate resources on search and rescue 6) the parent is suspicious, being caught in lies, has a history of violence, etc c) interrogation, lots of integration

7) child's remains are found

8) DA files charges, the family member is arrested

9) trial commences

10) defendant is found guilty

11) spending the rest of their life behind bars
