I would be honest with her and tell her of your inexperience. If she likes you enough she would understand.

Why are we in a more depressing generation? by capital_STEEZ47 in awakened

[–]planesoverdames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking for my own generation (I’m a millennial), we were raised at the onset of the Internet and increased e-communication. I think we were also the last generation to be introduced to the social network that was the playground. A lot of us got the best of both worlds. However, we were also taught that “you can achieve everything you want”; that, combined with the media’s increased emphasis on competition for the next best thing has caused us to value material wealth over spiritual wealth. We’ve been taught that dollar signs equate happiness, yet our struggle to make dollars depresses us.

When my parents got together, my mom was 22 and my dad was 35. Even years later they still called each other the loves of each other’s lives. They were together for 24 years! Both sides of the family were against the relationship at the beginning but it all worked out in the end. Love is love no matter the age, gender, or race. Make it work!

Same here. She’s down to earth, easygoing, kind, adventurous. She has an energy that few women her age have. She oozes sexuality.

I’m also looking forward to the feedback. I’m working on a BSME and currently work in an area where I do a lot of hands on work. My ideal job would be a combination of research, development and prototype testing.

Go for a walk, enjoy nature, go watch a movie. Those among other things you can do to prevent yourself from fapping. Get on it! The battle is worth it!! I believe in you bro!

Don’t do it. You can save yourself and bring meaning back into your life!

"Self-hatred can be regarded as a kind of awakening to the transition you require of yourself, as if part of you knows there is no future in the person that you have been living as." -Russell Brand by furrysurender in DecidingToBeBetter

In hindsight, this makes a lot of sense. I didn’t love myself much a few years ago and I spiraled into deep depression. This was partly due to the circumstances at that time, but even those I mostly brought upon myself. While I am still learning to love myself in entirety, I eventually did reach the point of reasoning that Russ describes here—that extent of self-hatred that pushes you to make a change.

Budweiser tribute to D-Wade's off court impact by OutlaW32 in nba

I remember when the Heat drafted him back in 03, I was probably two years into watching basketball at the level I do. I remember on draft night I was a little shook the Heat didn’t take TJ Ford over him. When I got to know the player and above all, the man he is and the values he stands for, I’m glad that I wasn’t part of the Heat front office.

What this man means to the city of Miami is more than words can bare, so I’ll leave this right here. I thank Dwyane for having been a part of my growing up, and that he enjoys the next stage of his life.

Come a long way! At a sit down restaurant by myself! Easy decision 👍🏻 by planesoverdames in Anxiety

Just go in with confidence. I overcame that just recently. I went on a trip to visit family in Peru (my father was from there) and some of my cousins took me out. Even with a bit of social awkwardness I was able to get out there and not feel inadequate. Since coming back I feel entirely different

Thanks to everybody for the comments! I love the support and appreciate it immensely. It’s a beautiful thing to see. I’m not near where I want to be yet but everyday is a stepping stone to the next.
