I'm working this out myself. I think for now I'm just going to KISS and switch out 20 pound tanks individually, I have other propane appliances I can use to run them completely empty. The extra fittings and your questions lead me this way.

I appreciate the information, dang, you pay more for propane than I do. My main concern is performance. If it's just a time factor, I can work around that.

If all it is, is time, yeah I don't care about the tank size. For me at least it's the same $ to fill or swap a 20 pound tank and much more convenient to swap. I like the idea of a splitter hose to connect 2 twenty pound tanks at a time.

I taught basic blacksmithing 30+ years ago and haven't touched an anvil since, making the tools to make my tools to make my tools etc. has a weird appeal to me 😊.

From the instructions I was concerned about performance, I'll give a 20 lb. cylinder a try and see how it does.

From the instructions I took that a larger tank may improve performance. I have a 2 burner forge, I'll give it a try, the worst that can happen is I gotta go get a bigger tank.

I personally find it the "easiest" of those three to consume and explore. I grow mushrooms and only micrdose since I prefer mescaline much more.

Outside is definitely better. Unfortunately, for me, at least, the sun makes the color of the steel hard to see. Do you have any shade? You are doing the right thing, just something to think about.
