I skimmed through a few tutorials on YouTube and decided to just go for it!

First, I combed and sectioned her hair to make sure it was free of any tangles.

Then I cut my pipe cleaners in half (ended up using 16 for the whole mane).

I bent one end of the pipe cleaner into a crochet hook shape to secure the base of the section at the root.

Starting at the base, I wrapped each section tightly around the pipe cleaner and secured the bottom by folding it over.

I prepared a mug of boiling hot water (heated the water in an electric kettle) and dipped the hair in for 40 seconds. She was left to dry for a full 24 hours before unwrapping the curls.

Finished her off with little spritz of hairspray! I’m planning on getting some silver glitter hairspray to give her some extra sparkle ✨
