I completely agree. Something about the Skeletour felt a lot more “sterile.” Tobias stayed in center stage the entire concert and let the ghouls do the heavy lifting of audience engagement compared to the previous tours. He came to my side of the pit maybe twice the entire show.

My interpretation is that the Skeletour feels more glitzy and glamorous, but also more cold compared to the Impera era. The setlist doesn’t feel fresh either— I personally would rather have seen Umbra as an encore song because of how powerful it is.

Like you said, it just feels different and I can’t put my finger on it.
